Where do you get your money to rave?

some of the money I use came from working over summer/winterbreak. My parents offer me 250 a month if I stay in school. I dont spend money on anything else but raves, and im sober a huge chunk of them. So I iam good on money, and I plan on working over summer again, only spending it on raves/food. The rest will be saved up and thrown into a bank account

and as for me:

I dont have a steady job this year because varsity lacrosse and high school doesnt give me time to have one, and the weekends for me are sacred and are the only times i get to party, hang out with friends, and do whatever i want. and i mean whatever. For the last 3 raves ive been too i used money from my birthday that i saved up for events such as those, but i ended up giving over 300$ of my birthday/xmas money to my mother ( single mother going through college ) to help her pay some bills because, after all, my money is her money and vice versa- i would never deny her money, and when lend her some i never expect it back.
I have a very young mother so we got along very well and talk about everything, drug use, sex, theres nothing we dont talk about. She had me when she was 17!

But yea, as of late ive been doing illegal things to get money, but now that lacrosse season is over and we almost made 2nd place for NorCal league, i can get a job, and infact just applied this sunday to work at a cafe. Also, i do manual labor during on the weekends i am free - im hoping to get a construction job during the summer, because that shit pays and i like physical labor.

So there u have it....my scheme of things.

I was getting desperate for POP and getting sloppy too in how i got my money so my close friend was very nice to me and bought me a ticket - he told me i dont need to pay him back but i will as soon as i get the money; generosity is getting less and less common these days and shouldnt be taken for granted.

Summer is here guys go get your Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications. Find a YMCA, country club, cabanna club, private pool, ect... I know nearly all of the YMCA's in the bay area pay 11-14 for lifeguards. I currently bring in 15.50 guarding at my YMCA but I've been there for four years and have had several raises haha.

Seriously though its a fun job.. just stay away from amusment parks, they pay shit and you do sooo much extra work.

if my job behind a deli counter is too obnoxious or falls through for some reason, i'll lifeguard at the pool on campus. already getting free certification this summer....and 10/hr ON CAMPUS? woo!

But anyways...I get my money by SAVING SAVING SAVING. Money from birthdays, X-mas, Chinese New Year, and other occasions. Then I pick out the raves that look most worthy of paying. Lights and clothes...same thing. My goodies are usually free though

I also ask my parents for money, but only for like water and stuff...which is usually like $10, but I hate to mooch for money...

mooching sucks. i'm curious how much i'll do it over summer back home.
probably only a teeny bit. and ill probably get rejected anyways. only thing my mom gives me money for when im back home now is food i will be cooking in the house for family.

250 a month? lucky. i only get 85. but meh im not complaining. several of my friends here get 300+. and thats with housing and food paid for.
