Where did all the PLUR Go?/Movie Review

Everybody's like.....oooooooh the rave scene is done.....oooooh raves are dying....ooohh blooo blah ha shunuhnawnuhnaw.....soooooo dumb. Where did all the PLUR go? Coooome on guys, i was out of the scene for like a year and i came back and it was stiiiiiiiiill hella tight. Its just what you make out of it!...3 years ago i bet all you loved the CrackHouse, one bad parlay and its a WhackHouse, shame, shame on you scene bashers...breaking rule number R...Respect. We just need a little more PL...then i think we'll have a little more U.

On to the movie review. I seen all the movies like party monster and shit, but i had never ever heard of the movie A Midsummer Nights Rave. Its about some SoCal ravers who are all going to a forest rave thats supposed to be huuuuuge. A local drug producer makes an ecstacy love potion that makes you fall in love, and the main characters fall in love and get hurt. Total rave shit. Hella funny, it starts out a little weak and didnt seem very raveable, but then the middle and the end is pretty funny. It points out different kinds of ravers and its fun cause it's like "hey thats totally me"...or everybody's like "thats so you dude"...and your like "nuh uh i'm not like that"...and everybody's like "yeah you are your a total e-tard". They make fun of dealers and kandi kids, and they make fun of different types of E and what it will do to you.

PLUR...you can feel it in the floor

Not that I don't like the pic, but that is not PLUR, that is the effects of E. Real PLUR is in our hearts and in our personalities, and in our human nature, not on the floor with drugs in our sytem. Though I have felt mad PLUR on the floor, but I realized a long time ago that is "E PLUR" not "REAL PLUR". And true the scene is what we make of it, but you are wrong if you think it has not gone downhill. Im not one to bitch about any of it though,cuz I have accepted it for what it is, and I do make the best of any party I go to, and I don't dog on promoters cuz they work hard at what they do, regardless of the turn out. But the scene has changed for the worse in many ways, but all I can be grateful for is that it's still around, and it's still trying to live. And Im still here to support it!!!!

Yo, the "Scene" has supposedly been in decline for years. But every weekend, all across the country hundreds, and in total, thousands of peeps still rave the fuck out. It will never be 199? again...or 200? again...when ever you caught the vibe...but the fact is that it IS still happening...new peeps are still finding their way...

"Downhill" is a subjective and qualitative statement that can only be justified from first person experience...but you are not a virgin anymore... There will always be a "back in the day" but now is all that REALLY matters. are you enjoying NOW?...forget yesterday and hopes of tomorrow...is NOW enough?

I'm just sayin...you can expect whatever, but what you get is what you make of it, and what you put into it. Give it your all...believe as much as possible, and that's what you get back in return.

True, people get fucked up...but that's always been a part of things. You cannot separate the "Fucked up" from the "REAL" and "TRUE" without some elitism...who are we to discern the future of those who come after us?

The fact is that the "FUCKED UP" aspect is not new...rather it is centuries old...thousands of years old...it is part of human nature. We seem to need to separate ourselves from our normal selves for long enough to realize what "Normal" is...that's just...um...normal...and par for the course.

I think I've tangented enough for the moment...anyway, All I'm REALLY saying is...fuckin rave on Brandon....Rave on... Rave Rave Rave.

Yeah, i get it, i go to a lot of raves and dont thizz, but i wont get defencive...lol...it did turn for the worse...but i try to make the best of everything...as far as the picture, You share PLUR with the people you chill with and make friends w/and Bunz and Thomas are like 2 of my fav rave people and its a picture of all of us...at least ur still here to support it

that picture is definitely not an accurate representation of PLUR... to be honest, all i see when i look at that picture is drugs and the perpetuation of stereotypes! don't get me wrong, i love bunz like a brother, he means the world to me, and b, i'm totally cool with you, but that picture just shows as elyse said "E PLUR"... sometimes i get upset when i see pictures of people gnawing on a binky, their pupils wider than their face, and as a caption they put "SO PLUR @ [event]" - it just degrades the TRUE meaning of PLUR, which is peace, love, unity, and respect. how are you showing anything any of the four by lying on the ground inebriated? to me, PLUR is how you act sober- because that's 100% real. PLUR cannot come in pill form, it's gotta come from the heart! i know that you can show PLUR intoxicated as well as sober, but the intentions have gotta come from the heart, not the E, you know?

mdma definitely boosted my belief that people are better than they allow themselves to be..

drugs don't have to be ugly. and.. public discretion ain't a bad thing.
