??

Hardstyle is NOT the same thing as hardcore. Please DO NOT lump it in with hardcore. Thanks.

When I hear hardcore (especially happy) I envision heaven. I envision the UK and how it must've felt to live in England back in the days of 1996 and 1997 when times were great.

Times are still good there but it's a bit different (like I would know). Anyway off to bed.

What event is happening in September?

Yes, listen to an old happy hardcore mix by one of the big UK DJ's from 96,97 or 98 (where you can hear the crowd, the whistles, the horns). It'll make you want to cry tears of nostalgia and joy. OK seriously bed time now.

Probably the largest UK hard Dance event that will ever be in SoCal.

It's been posted on several forums.

In SoCal.

If you're talking BDM GTFO. I've seen better lineups. POP had a better hardcore lineup. Hell Dreaming in Digital had a better lineup! And that crew is shady. IF they get DJ Sy then I might think about going down there.

DJ Sy owns that whole lineup.

first off, crew is not shady one bit.

Sure, I'm personal friends with them so you can say I'm bias, but it is because i don't just follow the rumors, gossip, and assumptions.

Second, the combination of the Djs/Genres they are bringing in make it great as well.

Sure, you can analyze just the hardcore part....

but the hardstyle, hardcore, and HHC?

have you seen the extended line-up btw?

there is also hard house and breaks.

Third, there are several headliners that have not been on the west coast for years.

and one or two that will be making a first appearance (I'm pretty sure)

fourth, huuuge venue.

that many people have not been been at a hard dance event in...how long? maybe never?

it is 7,000+ capacity.

fifth, they are bringing in a top VJ crew and stacking it up with lights and visuals.

sixth, only 30 dollar presales right now for all that UK/international talent.

7th, in LA city (for you guys does not mean much, but does for the socal scene

seventh, more sound than was at their previous event. and were you there? it was hella sound.

eighth, I am doing the decorations.

the end.

Obviously you've never actually done business with them or been to one of their earlier parties.

OK Hardcore/HHC are the same thing. Unless you are referring to hardcore gabber which is different.

dont care about house or breaks in this context at a hardcore party. Why is it even booked? Real hardcore parties book UK Hardcore, Gabber, DnB, and oldskool shit (like oldskool, HHC, hard dance, jump up jungle) again see HTID.

Big deal. I'm not driving to SoCal unless it's someone I really want to see. I've seen all of these DJ's in the UK before at HTID. Much better experience than driving to SoCal, putting myself in a hotel and going to a busted party.

Promises, promises. I have heard plenty from this crew. Over it.

Good for them, I hope it does well and shows other crews Hardcore is alive and kicking (even though the music isn't that great right now).

This is great for people on drugs, namely not me.

I know you are trying to promote for them, but you still aren't selling me. These guys owe me a ticket if anything after what happened at Binary History.

Take pics so I can see them. Your pop outfit was cool, but I will probably not be in attendance. Best of luck to this crew and hopefully they will do better.

you do realize a lot of the crew is different since binary history?

hell, a lot of the crew has evolved in a sense since uprise.

did you go?

most people that went had a banging time.

The shutdown was laced with drama on so many ends.

the talent they brought, the venue it was held at, the sound, the bag check, the free energy drinks, the cheap water, etc. great production.

and they learned and just in case got every, single, permit, possible...and not from the word of the venue owner but dropped tons of money to get it guaranteed run the whole time.

I know which venue it is at and it is legit. any changes will be for a good reason.

I'm promoting for them because....no other crew throws hardcore or hardstyle like they do on the west coast.

btw, i'm not even a "promoter"...i just support them and now i'm deco for this event.

BDM loves their fans...hell, im sure you could message winter and ask about a headliner you want.

might be late, but worth a try.

thats pretty much how he booked this...asking current ravers tons of times who they wanna see.

BTW, you know why they won't book sy????

cause he does not fly.

seriously.

he will not fly in a plane anymore.

you have to pay for a mother fucking boat for him.

Yes I know Sy does not fly. And LOL @ Riding a boat to the USA from the UK. This is just ridiculous.

Say hello to Ray for me. Tell him he's doing a great job booking the same DJ's over and over. We'll see how the September party goes. Bestest of luck to them. Really. I mean it. Who else is going to support hardcore in SoCal?
