The thing about parties is this.........the larger the space and amount of people in there the harder it is to create a vibe. I would rather throw smaller parties (not mor ethan 1,000 people) more often that have a great vibe than 2 larger parties per year where it's almost impossible to create a united vibe. To create an old school style event it's about the vibe, music, decorations, and lighting. To come together with 600 other people at Through the Looking Glass sharing a great vibe will provide you with way more memories and experiences than just sharing a rave space with 1500 other people.

Thats chill but sometimes theres hella shaddy ppl at smaller parties so i try to stay away form those.

pffft not even. you actually have more control with security of who can come in and out at a smaller event. larger parties give shady individuals more opportunities to take advantage of situations because they staff to raver ratio sucks.

i agree with mandi, smaller parties ftw. especially when u run around and get to know everyone, then u see the some of the ppl at the next party! the community just keeps branching out, and it gives shadey ppl less of a chance because we all start looking out for eachother. and in larger parties shadey ppl think they can do more because they can just run into the crowd n stuff.

It's so true. At Trip when the lights went out some shady people starting popping up and it was creepy. They came out form the corners! I was just thinking ahhh WTF lights! Where are they?!!! EEK!

If you really want to be in this scene undergrounds give you more opportunity to meet people and embrace the vibes. If you have never been to an underground you have yet to experience the most awesome vibes out there.

Glad you had a great time. Another one is in the works. Alice themed which is popular in the raving community, but the bay has not had this theme in over a year and there are lots of new ravers out there that will love the experience.

In addition you will be attending a fully themed event with awesome lighting by us. Some thing that we have not brought up to the greater bay area yet. When we started out doing parties in Santa Cruz there were fully themed with lasers and other inteligent lighting. It's time to continue that.
