Whats the underground scene like there? Scene in general!

Trippendicular 3 is gonna be pretty sick I would totally go to that if i were u.

Its in the city so i doubt (knock on wood) it will be shut down.

hard to compare becuase i dunno what to think about minnesota. the scene here just has to be soaked up. i dont think you will be dissapointed. try to make it to trippin 3 like ice said. its going to be amazing

I had a nightmare that it was at the Sunnyvale location and they shut it down! I was like THIS IS SUCH BULLSHIT! And I woke up and couldn't believe that it hadn't happened yet, and was so relieved!

well my experince has been alot of plur. im still a newb to the scene but i been to rnough parties. the local dj are fuckin great. lots of world renound dj come to spin too. we dont have massives to much. alot of cosey parties but we have our big ones too. theres some gangsters but most of em are chill. basicly lots of plur, great music, greater people, good venues( for the most part) and ive been to some really great afters. and theres a party mostly every weekend. hope to see you out here. i love the norcal scene. anyone can be a part as long as they have an open mind. and thats my 2 cents!

Awesome, Thanks so much! That was super good basic information, which I really needed. So now I am pretty sure that I am going. I would still like a little more details though!

I.E.Can you, or anyone else, tell me: Are there undergrounds? How much does it cost to get into an event? Are there candy kids, gravers, etc...

I've been in the scene for a year and a half and its great. Different kinds of parties, the best ones are fully themed and have the most variety of music, fun outfits and ... more Plur, and often they're not permitted... its hard to say whether they're "legal" or not. If they tell you the address on the flier, its usually more like a club scene, and play trance and house usually.

There are undergrounds but its not like the hella underground go to this grocery store and buy these eggs and thats the direction to the map point. They have like 300 person outdoors in the middle of nowhere and theres plenty of sac undergrounds. There arent that many san fran ones at least in the city cuz they just get to big. But I've heard of renegades pretty close where people just bring it together in one night, no production krew just a buncha djs and some sound peoeple.

There's lots of stuff in SF, not all of it makes it onto these boards. Actually there was a day this summer where there were four events on the same night. Two warehouse raves, and two renegades, one techno and house and the other breaks and DnB...Or even on Halloween weekend there was Mad Hatters and then there was a Friends and Family event in SF proper in the SoMa (i think)...

Anyway, there are lots of things to do and many different sub-scenes, You could probably spend the entire week going out and listening different kinds of music every night if you're 21, then hit up a rave on the weekend and do the end-up through sunday...rinse, repeat.

Though summer seems to be when shit is really poppin off..
