What's so special about Connected?

That its 40 bucks at the door? I'm deciding whether or not to go and I know you can get presales for less, but the 40 dollar door price makes me think it better be good. Is it? Who went last year? What kinda venue might it be in?

Its at the Regency center, in Sf, WHERE the fallowing have been held.

No place like home. - I heard was not so good.
Be Thankful - Which was pretty good, depending on the person, I loved it.
Trip 4 - Which was insane I heard.

The security is tight, they have been known to card and they have taken away gum and most things that were drug related, I have some friends who have lost the binkies.

Over all, Its large, beautiful, space to cuddle, space to dance ect.
But 40 bucks... Ive only seen the flyer, not pages or anything and haven't heard much more then people giving flyer's away at the raves ive been to.

Connected was the first show that we did back in 2005. It rotates locations each year between LA and SF. It's a party about bringing unity to two amazing scenes. It's always been a good show with a great vibe.

The price is $40 because we have a limited capacity. Each CONNECTED show we have done is the past couple years has had well over 1200 people. This year we have a capacity of 1000 people and we are expected to sell out. Pre-sale prices will end at $35 on groovetickets.com and can be bought until 5pm the day of the show. If you go to Anubis Warpus in SF, I just dropped off pre-sales last week so you can probably get one on the $20 tickets.

I apologize for the price being so high, and we are looking into future shows to not exceed $30. We just needed to budget well for the capacity.

The location is in SF, but it is not at the Regency. It will be in another permitted venue, a few miles from the Regency.

I bought my presale online for $25 plus a few dollars extra charge. If this party is at regency then you should realize the cost of that venue is expensive. They would have to charge extra to make sure to break even. I've never been to a connected party yet, but it seems like it should be cool. A little something for everyone.
