id rather have crazy tweeks dancing like they have just been tazed then no one dance at all. i hate when people bum on dancing. so what if you look funny? thats not what matters as long as you have fun.

but i feel if any thread is worthy

this one is it

basically heres my input

How did rave start

go out to a big location
set up speakers
dance until you collapse
and then attempt some sort of shaky dance move while your stuck to the ground

these are the true essences of rave

no stupid art decorating walls to look pretty for e tards
no security saying 'no thats not allowed here'
no lines to relieve yourself

and lastly

most importantly

they arent charging us ridiculous amounts of money
just to get shut down at 1 am

they are doing this FOR us
they give us speakers
and we pick up the slack


just music

and a bunch of kids who love this stuff

so if anything you should be happier renegades are back instead of those indoor "steal your money for about a 3 hour party until it gets shutdown" fests

hey pat, i feel you on the sense that there's barely any raves this year..... this time last year i remember hitting up a rave EVERY WEEKEND in the bay and chillin afterwards.....ahhh good times. we'll make this year good, its up to us ravers who know the scene well to make it stronger.

I kinda figured the renegades were a response to all the expensive parties that got broken up at "legit" locations. Madhatter's for example, was a big disappointment for everyone, and along with other raves at the end of last year, it was way too expensive. Hence: the demand for cheap parties at more secretive locations.
