Warning if ur coming UC Santa Cruz on 4/20

They're gonna be checking all cars for a student ID. If you don't have one, you can't drive up. If you go with a friend who's a student, you can. They'll be doing this starting at 8pm on Saturday and will continue until 6am on Monday 4/21.
If you're determined you can park near the campus and walk up. There's residential parking but be careful you don't get ticketed... so many ppl show up I bet parking will be a bitch. This is the first year they've started checking for student ID's, so I bet a lot of people are gonna be parking nearby the campus. You can also park near downtown and take the bus up from the metro. Routes 10 through 20 go up to campus. Again... the parking sitch downtown... is iffy.
