Some people are immune to it, while others have severe allergies to it. my cousins leg swelled up to about double its size when he got it.

Consider yourself very lucky! I know I have gotten a rash from Poison Ivy before. Not sure about Poison Oak though.

i dont know if any of you guys have dogs but the worst is taking them camping/hiking because they will run all through it, then you pet them unknowingly...basically it doesnt end well as this has happened to me atleast 10+ times. damn dogs...

i usually get poison oak reaaally bad
i got it on my entire body including eyelids last year
but this is almost nothing
just thought everyone should be aware of it for the next party out there. which better happen!

Same Here, poison oak is horrible, espically for those of us that are "allergic" to it.

ive read that washing the affected area (up to 5 hrs?) with antibacterial soap, will get rid of the oils which cause the horrible rash we have all come to know and love.

knowing my luck I would have gotten that stuff as well...Out of 200 people, I was the only one to get poison oak on a fieldtrip to some indian grounds. I got that shit BAD!!! arms, stomach, legs...
