Viva Pinata REVIEW!!!!

i was the guy in the equalizer shirt to any that may have seen me
first off, the main event.

AMAZING MUSIC!!!! i think i went a little crazy when pendulum came on
good sized venue with an amazing multiple laser shows going on with amazing decoration for all that looked (loved the little windmills by the door), and for once, when they promised free water, they actually had it (if only for a little while)

the hookah tent was pretty sick, met some great new people


afterwords
due to changes in the afterparty, things started to go downhill. 45 min later, we finally find the people giving directions... to bad they are charging money for them.

things go from bad to worse. we attempt to follow the directions but soon become hopelessly lost on back roads and wrong turns, and we stumble upon a group of 6 cars pulled over. the gathered people tell us that they were on the phone with someone who had made it to the after party and that it was "fooking far down the road" but that none of it mattered because it had allready been broken up by cops.

havent verified that any of what i was told actually happened, but we decided to go home....

i was scared that it was going to be a not-so-great event because, in the beginning, the whole line-check in thing took forever
they had two lines (Boy and girl obviously) yet the girl line seemed to be moving way faster then the guys
also they had people who had presales and people who still needed to buy tickets waiting in the same line, which im sure was one of the facts having to do with why the lines were moving so slowly ( i dont think i got into the veune till 9 even though we were waiting since around 8 10ish
but it this companies first event, so of crouse things arent going to be perfect ^^

but everything else was great (the vibe, music, people, etc)
when the happycore came on...just O.M.G (haha)

hookah tent was chill

and i loved how waters were free the entire night!

btw i was the one wearing the hotpink/purple fluffies with the matching cuffs (dancing the whole time) for all of those who meet me

The after party was a complete failure though.

it was a little different at first, but throughout the night, it just kept getting better and better, especially with the cop near the renegade telling people where the renegade was, lol, very fun night after it was all done with, met and chilled and SOCIALIZED, which i never do, so i was really pleased i finally am out of my shyness now, so thank you all for helping me be able to do so, and the renegade didnt get stopped by cops... lol, yeah, the 1 cop chillin was really just chillin, lol

I had a really fun time going sober. [:

Waiting in line for a long time wasn't so great, but i got to talk to a lot of people in line so i didn't mind. And i got covered in ants while waiting in line...yuck. The music was good and stuff, but i just wasn't really feeling the main room plus it was REALLY hot and smelly so i spent most of my time in the other room with the tables and outside. I had a great time just socializing and stuff. Met some new people but of course, i don't remember their names... ]: But add me on myspace if you met me. My friends and I went to the afterparty, but we had to leave just after it got started up, so we didn't really get to see anyone there.

Overall, i had a really fun time and i hope to see all of you at fern gully.

Had tons of fun, the main event was pretty good and the renegade was awesome. Too bad it took me three hours to find it, but I found a pretty cool crew of locals to hang out with (and drive around). Overall definitely a success.

Viva Piñata was amazing!!! thanks to everyone who helped put this party together, especially that sexy sexy Random girl! and those two hotties Evan and Caleb .

This event turned out perfect! The lighting and decorations were fantastic! I especially loved the huge glow tree behind the dj booth with real plants inside too! and the hidden little piñata's around the dancefloor so cute! Omega's set had the whole party dancing and it even started to rain it wuz so crackin! Im so glad it worked out for the Pretty Rave Girls to be a part of this event - they totally pumped up the crowd and added a fun vibe to everyones night- not to mention they were gorgeous too and had great outfits!

The promised free water was cool, and how crazy was it that there was a hookah lounge set up in the back too? and for only 5 bux! ive never seen that at a party before.

it was great seeing so many friends up from the bay area show up to this party and support. you know they did it Just For µ!!!
All in all this may have been my favorite event this year, and for only ten bux, i woulda paid twice, maybe even three times.....Love you guys!!!!!

This was so fun!

I'm excited for our next party "NightSweats" We'll make those improvements that we need to make for sure. (like the line etc)

You guys made me so happy, seeing everyone enjoying themselves. We really do these parties just for YOU!

ABOUT THE AFTER PARTY: We DID NOT tell the map point people to CHARGE you. The After Party was supposed to come with the party. We PAID THEM for their gas & time, and I know they won't apologize to you all so I will do it for them. I'M SORRY GUYS! --Boss Jill was very unpleased.


On a positive note though the After Party was amazing from what I heard. Haha I didn't make it out there because while we were cleaning the venue I heard about the cop chillin and thought it got shut down! hahahahaha I'm STOKED to know it went off well. A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE "SUGAR" CREW for putting that together for us and for you. They have a weekly down here in Santa Cruz that is always poppin off. o so fun! didnt get to make it to much of the actual party but the after party was amazing and i danced the whole time... saw a lot of old faces.. and a bunch of new ones.. love you all..
ps. i was the chick in the highwaisted "sailor pants" dancing around with my lights.. twas a good night.. or morning... yesterdays tomorrow... lost in a flurry of rainbows...
