Tri-Atom in SC?

I just wanted to know what happend to tri-atom? They're all gung ho yay we're bringing the scene to santa cruz no more driving out to the city to go party every time. And just as it begins to pick up down here, the head of the production crew moves to san jose and OH no more parties in santa cruz now we're a bay rave production crew all I gotta say is HELLA WEAK!

Actually not all of Tri-Atom lives in San Jose. yes I moved. I still work in Santa Cruz and am here all the time.

We have NOT forgotten about Santa Cruz and have plans to do another 418 party in the summer. Probably in July and it will be Go Deep 2: A yellow submarine Adventure. I grew up in SC and have not forgotten about my home town.

The main issue with Santa Cruz is the music could only go until 1am and you all wanted to party longer. The 418 is a great place but it's really only one highly usable room.Space Girls 2 was held at the civic, but you need to understand it's hard to pull heads in SC due to people not wanting to battle with 17 to attend a rave. We aren't in this to make money at all, but we need to be able to break even.

We truly throw these parties for you and for the music. I believe in this sound and this scene and all it's pholosophies. Tri-Atom was started in Santa Cruz because we knew there were people who loved EDM, but they weren't united. We wanted to see that happen and I think we helped that cause.

I promise there will be at least one santa cruz party this year if not two. Depending how our year goes we are actually thinking about throwing you guys a FREE party in SC for any one who arrives with an old flyer of ours.....Go Deep, Robotica, Fly High, Mad Science, Or Bali Beats! So please hold onto your old flyers! We want to do this just to say thank you for supporting us while we were there full time.

We always wanted to branch out while still throwing events in SC. We want to share our old school vibe and fully themed events with any one who is open to it. You are not forgotten. You are loved, respected, and appreciated. Whenever I am out in town I always run into SC ravers and it's awesome to catch up with all of you.

I love all the SC ravers. you guys are awesome and truly made my year! It's awesome to see you all branch out into the greater bay area scene as well. It's exciting to run into you all at shows around the bay and hear how you all started raving in SC. It makes me happy to see you have found something amazing within this scene.

If you personally have great issue with this feel free to hit me up anytime. We would be happy to hear your thoughts and feelings. Maybe grab coffee or something.

Yeah guys, tri-atom had a good thing going in sc. pretty much the only crew in the electronic music scene (+ space girls 2, but that was one night).

I think moving Tri-atom parties to venues that go at least until 2am and beyond is only gonna help create a much more solid vibe at their parties. the vibe was there at 418, but ending at 1 am is lame sauce for everybody that needs to commute from outside of SC (without a car of my own, i could never seem to get a ride down there soon enough to be at the party for more than 2-3 hours).

and hey topic starter, you sound passionate enough, have ya ever thought of working on these events yourself? any crew could use some fresh young enthusiasm.

exactly! i sent him a PM and told him to give my cell a call! obviously he would make a great flyer person for the SC area. I am happy to continue some small events there a few times a year out of love for that town, but it was time to branch out for sure.

I had such a good time at the 418 last year, but really the 1am bedtime sucked salty nutts. although we always found a sweet after party!!

unfortunatly the scene is dead here, which saddens me deeply. i have friends who spin, and many who just love to hit the party rolling hard all night long!!

my housemate and several of our friends have been discussing putting on a party this year, but, being the newbs we are we havn't gotten much further then "we need money and a venue". my housemate, Checker is the one whos soley devoted to the scene, plur and its people.

ravelinks has helped us to reach out to local ravers and begin some sort of unified front.

Tri-Atom ~ PLEASE THROW A PARTY THIS YEAR, if it ends at 1am, we are stoked to throw an afterglow with dj's at our shitty lil pad in downtown.

we're always down to party !!
