To the promoters of Nar Nar

I posted this over on Bay Raves, and was asked to post it here too. I'm not trying to come at you guys, I'm trying to offer some constructive criticism. There are a lot of resources you have, in terms of experienced promoters. Use them!

T-bot, I love ya, but you guys really need to put more thought into these events. Quality > quantity

To the promoters of "In the Woods": Guys, I really feel bad that your party got broken up/relocated and that your equipment got stolen. That really sucks.

BUT....

It seems like you all could use some advice on throwing parties in a responsible way. When more experienced people offer advice, listen. Listen to them. Listen to common sense (don't let a stranger drive around your valuables in a shuttle). Listen and learn.

You dont know who was driving the shuttle? Did you get the license plate of the shuttle? Any info at all?

Come on guys - how are you are going to PUT PEOPLE'S LIVES IN DANGER by having them ride in some stranger's car?!!!!!

The whole thought & execution of this party was extremely poor. Promoters need to realize that when they throw a party, they are responsible for everyone who attends.

thanx for the input guys, don't blame tom.. this was my bad, we had it all set up and i gave the shuttledriver the opportunity to jack my shit and he did... i was caught in the moment and i made a mistake

trust me the quality was there, we got alot ripped off from us and put alot of man hours into this party, alot...

i apologize to everyone who got lost in the fog, the shuttle was suposed to take care of that. we used the skills map point so we could weed anybody out, nobody knew ware the spot was they couldnt find it.

A lot worse can happen when you dont have trustworthy staff. Again, before you let someone shuttle anything, do a basic check of who they are, their license, insurance, etc. Lives really are on the line.
