Stop bashing tiesto!
I think it is so awesome that he makes/plays tracks that are ten minutes long and have long ass boring breaks that make me fall asleep and then slowly mixes in another track that sounds exactly the same as the last one with a lame ass volume adjustment (God forbid he uses the eq's... and scratch/juggling/tricks what the hell are those terms? Trance "DJs" play the most bullshit I mean beautiful music ever; they don't need to learn how to be a "DISC-JOCKEY" just play long slow boring ass records and somehow manage to match beats amazingly during the short ten minute track!) Imagine how bad a good hardcore real DJ like Mark N, Jappo, or a hip hop DJ like Q-Bert would embarass the shit out of tiesto, "THE WORLD'S NUMBER ONE DJ" playing any type of music in a five to ten minute battle set? |

You guys are about six years late on this one.
And the hardcore record Tiesto released was on Trashcan Records under the alias 'Da Joker'. It was released in 1994 and is a pretty awful record all in all. I had it, but traded it for something good. My buddy just got his copy of this signed by Tiesto. hahahahaha |

I think the article is made up or distorted Tiesto's words to cause controversy. I have seen plenty of documentaries on Tiesto where he proudly says how he loves people who get dressed up, use glow sticks, and have a great time. He encourages people to get involved in the music.
This article was made to get people talking.... why not use Tiesto vs Ravers...?! Good article to cause controversy... that's all it is... ![]() |

1. press play button 2. take headphones off head and put hands in the air and start clapping 3. put headphones back on and try and beatmatch song for 8 mins to another song that sounds the same 4. go to step 2 ![]() I like some of hit tunes but he costs WAY too fucking much for a gig and not worth the price at all. I'd go see him if it was for free though LMAO |

I do notice that a lot of people here don't like trance too much...Trance got me into raving and learning about other genres. |

GABBA HARDKOAH!!!! I dunno I used to like adagio for strings because of the climax but then i met gabber and hardcore, so it's like he's a pussy to me, but theres no reason to hate anybody, just make sure you dont get infected, and dont tell ME TRANCE isnt like FOR drugs ITS KALLD TRANCE LIKE BE IN A TRANCE !!! fucking dumbass yyyyeah but like it's too bad that people in the bay dont really dig gabber or hardcore, like when i went to raves an shit in highschool('07) all they played was like from happy hardcore-to softer music. I mean I dont even do drugs anymore but I swear to god I cant even lift a leg in dance unless the bass is hitting hard and fast(that's what she said) soooo yeah im not happy with tiesto or anybody else unless it's soo hard it hurts ....kuz i like that -hero |

On a side note Tiesto has his goods and bads like any other artist. PVD didnt strike me in the least the last time i heard him preform but i remember a time when he actually use to put me on a musical cloud nine. Tiesto has been entertaining at times and at others hes been a royall buzz kill. I figure thats just how it goes ...**shruggs** ![]() |

The whole thing with glowsticks and all, who cares man
I saw someone toss a glowstick to Moby; he caught it and held it with pride during the last few minutes of his set at this year's EDC not only is he a really interesting DJ, but he has a totally organic connection with his audience and especially with his fans. I remember before he dropped 1000 he climbed on top of some speakers or some equipment and just chilled for a bit, checking out the sea of people, just totally getting in touch with the vibe and all. What an amazing dude. With such a legacy under his belt, he still sees every event as special. ![]() |
