bisexuals and homosexuals have been numerous for ages.
there are documents talking about homosexuality as far as the Mayans and well...in the bible. which whether or not you believe in the high power/god part of it....it's still a literary document that needs to be studied.

so what has changed....overall?

our acceptance of it...mainly in the last....ten years.
ESPECIALLY in the last 6 months.
even the more so in California.

so...prepare for a shitload of people to say they are homosexual/bi-sexual.
expect the figure of 1/10 people being gay to change to like 1/7...just cause its not so taboo anymore and people have less to fear and will tell the truth.


and just wait till the acceptance moves to the Midwest and the south and the whole world is filled with married gays.

I think the sf bay area is just spoiled to have as many bi/gay people as we do, but it's always been like that... the reputation is well known throughout the country.... travel to a different place close, say like sacramento, and you only see them partying on one street where they get 2 clubs and couple bars.....

I feel that in this area esp California some use the LGBT comunity to get back at there parents, find a way to be a victim, attract the opposite sex, and misunderstand there own sexual preference.

This type of validation is, in essence, shows the man as the provider or the dominate personality in the relationship and the woman as the submissive since she is the receiver and accepting being "taken care of". The problem now lies in the lack of reciprocated action or in hip hop terms "knowing your role" or "sticking to the script" by the female. It stands to reason that when one takes a gift in the manner of submissiveness that they would be submissive. This is no longer the case of the "Neo Modern Woman" who now wants to still maintain her own identity and even so far as dominance in the relationship. This is a direct result of several socio-political steps of woman empowerment. Perhaps an unanticipated affect, but still directly correlated. Now as of right now the only problem is the different response to old stimuli, however this is further propagated into many other responses.



Another old stimulus that is greatly wanted by many women but whose response is askew by the Neo Modern Woman. Another part of male dominance courtship is the love singer concept. This particular concept can be seen as submissive upon first glance, but because of underpinning ideals it's in fact a trait of dominance. The love singer aspect manifests its self in the woman's need to be treated as the superior example of woman hood. Flowers, poems, and the simple heir of importance the man provides giving security and validation. The pay off or initial and on going function of the woman is the false perception of purity and the real notion of devotion and dedication. The former is obviously an illusion, but than so is the perception the man gives the woman of her being pure initially. Both of these ideals are now considered out of date and chauvinistic, however if the effect is wrong than the cause should no longer be acceptable. The erroneous belief in these Neo Modern Women holds no real light in an open forum. This is not referring to sexual equality but rather the inequality of an expectation to be treated with a respect born from purity while openly being impure. "I'm young and I want to have fun", is a frequent counterpoint to a man's request for stability from these types. But the only "fun" one can have while not in a relationship that you can't have while in one is sex or anything of that nature. This is a direct conflict with the proposed treatment and the idea of the treatment of purity.



These points can be shown with the proliferation of bi-sexuality and homosexuality in these urban and metropolitan areas. This statement is not true of all homosexuality or bi-sexuality but can be considered a factor. Since the woman woman dynamic has not as much history or ingrained into social mentality, it has no confines of equal treatment as defined by a long standing social principle. As the apparent miscommunication further opens, the need for similarity and understanding spills into sexual experimentation. Sexual experimentation is a phase that many individuals experience. However because of the sexual revolution, coupled with modern society's acceptance of lesbianism, these escapes from the logic of the male female dichotomy can be perceived as real. This is a false pretense that a relationship formed from frustration or misunderstanding can not produce anything of value. An example of this that transcends this topic entirely is when man or woman has an affair than assumes the "other" man or woman can truly have a connection.

In closing this problem that infects many aspects of our society. Including, but not limited to, explosion of single moms, homosexuality being used as sexual deviancy, and the very fabric of society. As this cycle further propagates into our society, it becomes more acceptable and less understood. Further more, as children are brought up by these Neo Modern Women, they will not have the tools required to have a healthy relationship further causing the subjugation of sexual minority and in turn further separating this demographic from complete social integration as misrepresentations of homosexuality increases.

There are some other points to the reason I wrote this. But for example 16 year old are too immature in ther sexuality to be either Gay or Straight. A vast majority of the human race has sexual experimentation with the same sex, that's well known, but I believe that because of this tolerance and new trendiness of being part of the LGBT community is one of the main casue of this new upswing in homosexual populace. I'm willing to bet that if you took two different parts of say San Jose, that the east side (Mainly Hispanic, low affluence and income) has more women saying there Bi as opposed to say Los Gatos west side (Mainly white upscale). This not only has to due with the Hispanic treatment of women but also shows how income can effect ones selection of social groups. Like gangs for example.
