The raving comunity and homosexuality

First off I want to say I'm not homophobic and am a member and have worked for the HRC. (If you dont know what that is and you belive in equality than look them up.)

But I've noticed more and more that the raver community is becoming more homo/ bi sexual. not just the guys but MANY of the girls (lil fake Bi Ptots) I have some theorys but Im at work so I wanna hear what some others are. Not bad or good just the way it is.

Ohhhh I hope this isnt pointless.

lol this is happening everywhere. it's cool for this new generation to be bi-sexual. it's not this community. it's everywhere.

Just what I was thinking. Depression and bisexuality are the "it" stuff for this new generation. Who knows though... maybe its the "it" thing because the human race really is trying to do some population control, haha. Either don't make babies... or just kill yourself off... one of the other. lol

Maybe because of our groups mass acceptance of all things NOT negative (different from positive) that makes it seem, to me anyway, more prevalent.

I'll say this though. I don't see as many of LGBT community in clubs or in raves in the early 90's

you don't see the "it's cool to be bi" thing nearly as much when you go outside of northern america (correct me if I'm wrong)

mos def agree with you on this one. The atmosphere at a rave is where people can do odd things without really getting looked upon bad, judged, or getting hassaled. That's why you are starting to see homosexuals at raves. It makes sense to me. As long as your not hurting anyone or bringing the collective vibe down as whole, nobody really cares what you do.

it's because they are all attention starved little whores. everyone's parents are working constantly to compete with the failing economy, and they think if they are a bi-sexual slut it will grab their parent's attention. it really doesn't. it further pushes their parents into denial. it's weird. i have a brother who is 16 and i have watched all his friends grow up and a lot of them do this. their parents are checked out. it's basically just disturbing to see them whoring it up all the time, especially when they are at a rave. i remember seeing one girl at fern gully and i was like i told you not to come in your freaking underwear! i had known her since she was 5 and it was just frightening really. lol

WAIT! Is anyone else getting the ad on this page saying to take the test to see if you are secretly gay? Awesome hahaha.
