Summer Gathering Review!!

I personally had a really good time. Vibe was pretty good and the people I chilled with throughout the night were awesome Folks. Hope to run into you again


Security- WTF, really? I got a more intense search than TSA. Guys and Girls alike, taking off shoes, going through my wallet etc. They let me in with my eyedrops though... *boggle*

Sound- For the size of the venue I was satisfied, but I spent a lot of time in front of the speakers to get my bones rattled and really feel the pump. Music was cool, made for some great dancing and lightshows.

Venue- The upper floors were a nice touch, the floor was okay at best and zomg the bathrooms were nasty. I did like the little tiers in the back for giving/getting light shows and some seriously impressive Poi. Water prices were fair ($3) and the alcohol was poured out pretty stiff apparently. Bottom line: It wasn't anything the write home about but it seems everyone made the best of it and had a good time there.

3 dollars a bottle is not fair.but at least there was really good sound ^_^.

Well I guess in perspective it still is expensive but at least I didnt blow 50 bucks on it like I had to at EDC

Security was a little harsh, but not their fault, they just do what their told, blame their bosses ;) I'm sure they were keeping it tight so we can have more events there. Did hate the fact we had to stand up every 8 seconds, i hate giving light shows to people standing up... heh.

Very clubby type atmosphere, but i didn't see any creepers while i was dancing,

overall, I could have saved 30 bux and got guest listed at rubyskye and had the same effect.

Thanks to everyone who gave me a light show... I gave out a couple, but was mostly just dancing at the same time...

I had on a blue nike shirt that said, "Just do it" red and white leds on short string.

wish i was at the day party... but i'm at work. 2 more hours! then i can possibly go to the day party, or home to sleep.

Not a good time. Not worth the money, would not do it again.

This was my 3rd night out in a row after Trauma on Thursday, Bayshifters on Friday, and then this.

I get there and I'm waiting in line and see them doing shoe checks, wallet checks, etc. I get there and empty my pockets, put my lights and such in the basket, a total of 12 lights. The lady tells me that I can't come in because I have too many lights. TOO MANY FUCKING LIGHTS. She said they only allow 6 lights in. She asks me if I want to come back after, lol. Ugh, so I scoot back in line about 10 people and shove 2 sets of them down my pants.

Becky gets to the line and has a backpack, and they search it for about 5 minutes then tell her she can't bring it in. She got dropped off and had no where to put it so I let her put it in my car along with another friends. I get back for the second time and they make me wait in the line for a 3rd time. FUCKING BULLSHIT.

Finally get in and it feels like a prom/club. Vibe was not a good vibe. They wouldn't allow anyone to sit on the floor, they had scouters up on the upper decks looking down on the lower levels for "suspicious people" who would then get confronted.

I did get a double halfy shot of rum which helped slightly but I ended up leaving at about 1030 with Adam the Amp to go get some food and ended up going to a stripclub where I got a lapdance from a raver I know, small ass world.

Came back at like 130 and stayed till the end, went home and crashed.

Worst rave I've been to in awhile.

the security was pretty obnoxious and it was a very clubby venue
which was very bright XP
but as usual the ppl and vibes were awesome
so i had a good time regardless and am glad I went

I had like... god 14 Leds between my gloves and extras i had to share with people. Didn't give me any issues. Sorry you didn't have a good time. Wasn't what i expected either, but sometimes you take what you can get.

Yeah but when you go as much as I do you really start to see how things should be done, and how things shouldn't be done. I was talking with a couple other producers who agreed with me about what things should've been changed.

And yes, I'll be at Heart heislegend.

it wasnt really what i was expecting, and security was annoying... but everyone i met was cool and all the people i came with ended up having a good time too

i don't know if i would go to another one at the same venue though...it was nice that it wasn't too hot but at the same time it just seemed like kinda a weird place to have something like that... maybe its just cause i had my senior prom there. idk

Yeah, I had a shitty experience too. Wasn't that bad though.

I got there around 10:30 PM, waited in line, they wouldn't let me in with my cigs (it was a full pack minus one cigarette). He checked my shoes, wallet, EVERYTHING. I had a couple multivitamins (literally) in my wallet, and he took those and asked me what they did. I looked at him all weird as was like "Dude, they say CENTRUM on them. The fuck you think they do?" and he pocketed them and let me in.

Almost no one I knew was there - - ran into Mac the guy, Bambi, Ditzy, Raph, Becky, Joe, a few other people... but most of the people there were strangers.

I hated the vibe, and the atmosphere. The sound itself was good, but a lot of the sets were kinda shitty. A few trainwrecks I noticed around 11 PM or midnight..

I ended up leaving around 12:30, Teddy and I weren't really feeling it and we were both tired.
