We are being talked about by two people as though they are watching us and I can hear them in my head as if they were narrarating. As a matter of fact, as everything from this point forward happens, they are describing it as if discussing a movie that they have both seen, each adding details and thoughts about what's going on. So I am outside with a Doctor, who is a "strange man" (according to my narrarators), a nurse, and another woman who has her hair pulled back in a tight bun and is wearing very drab brown clothes and a sweater. The four of us are being chased by bees and run into an abandon looking building. Inside there are less bees but many broken windows and we realize that it is only a matter of time before they get in and find us. The doctor says we should head into the basement, there are all kinds of squash and pumpkins around the entrance to the basement and the doctor suggests that they will last better in the basement, in case we need to stay down there for a while. I open the door to the basement and there is a sense of dread. It is exceptionally dirty. We make our way to the bottom of the stairs and start looking around. Drab lady looks inside a big metal box and accidentally closes her finger in it and screams. Nurse runs up to her and wraps her coat around drab lady's hand and walk away with her to patch her up. The doctor pulls a needle out from somewhere and lifting the edge of the metal box sees a peice of drab lady's skin on the corner of the box. He takes the needle and sticks it into the peice of skin. He twirls the needle and skin around a bit in his fingers, looking at it intently, before very deliberately placing both on the edge of the box, adjusting them until they are at a perfect 45 degree angle to the box corner. We go over to see how drab lady's hand is. Nurse and doctor are talking as I continue to look around, turning in place and realizing that behind me something is so close that it is blurry. I focus in a see a white flower, no, many white flowers and leaves, its a tree in full bloom in the middle of this dark basement. As I start to wonder how that is possible I am filled with fear. There is something very wrong with the tree and creepy music starts to play. All of a sudden I am watching this little girl in her room and behind her a shape is taking form. It is a grotesque shifting pile of bones and blood and fur, churning upward, growing, behind her. She turns to look at it and when she sees it she smiles, I get the sense that this is her friend, a play pal, but that she is not right at all. "She is controlled by this morphing creature and he tells her to do bad things" (the narrarators add). no one else knows about it but her, and me...and then I wake up.

This is very unusual for a person to remember a dream so vividly with so much detail. Now even though i truely belive that dreams are our way of subcontiously attemping to get us out of our own way this is so long that its hard for me to peel apart. Different colors, people and things have meanings than what we think.

If you wanna know i suggest you pick up a dream book and pick apart that entire paragraph. Otherwise...if your like i was you may have to lay off the X or whatever else.

What an amazing dream. It's funny how distorted and heightened our perceptions of things are in dreams. A blossoming tree tree inciting fear and an innocent little girl turning out to be bizarre and twisted. I like that you can describe how you felt at most moments. More than the image that we see or the action that's taking place, I think the way that our dream selves feel about the particular thing happening is much more meaningful and ends up really strangely connected to our conscious.
I remember having a dream once where I was faced with a large 7 foot white wolf and I started smiling in my dream and then laughing because it should have been scary as hell. Her eyes were red and intimidating but all i felt was peace and i found it hilarious. Reality always seems skewed but still present in a way.
Anyway you have beautiful dreams. Do you remember them often or just when they leave such a big impression?

Lol, yeah trouble with that is that I am pretty much sober, have not done and serious substances in over 6 months and probably went 6 months without anything before that as well. I do chill with Mary semi regularly though, but not last night.

I remember them because I've always tried to remember them and when I am in the shower I replay them over and over until I memorize them.

I've never put much store in those "dream dictionary" things because they are often contradictory and i feel like and one individuals personal symbology can differ greatly from the next persons. Besides, I feel like I can always get a rough outline of what my dreams mean by how they make me feel. But this one was weird for me, not sure what to make of it.

I guess, they are pretty unsettling sometimes..this one just had a creepiness about it, but sometimes they are really disturbed.

i own a dream dictionary
its BS
a lot of the dreams i have arent the same
and yet i would get the same symbols over and over again
so it wouldn't make sense.

intense dream
i wish i had some like that
the other night i had one where i was sitting in a hotel
and i found tiny ass packages of pancakes[about an inch or two inches wide] with syrup already in it
i thought that was cool
hahaha >_<

I like the creepy dreams though. They always give me chills the next day when I think of them like they've left such an impression on my mind that it takes a long time to fade. I had a dream recently that I went back to the house i grew up in and it was deserted and falling apart and every dog I had ever owned growing up kept coming out of nowhere and chasing me up ladders and snarling and shit. and the whole dream i was trying to save a backpack of cookies cause i thought that's what they were after until i realized it was me and so i threw the cookies at them as a distraction and escaped and went to my neighbors and stole their cookies from all these tins hidden under a coffee table in the bathroom and then their dogs came after me. and then i woke up. it was scary as hell
