WHAT UP EVERYONE!!!


its almost time!!!

I am from Angels Camp.. well, actually, Murphys, but I went to High School in Angels Camp.
Anywho.. just some advice of the best roads to take up there..

I would go 99S to GALT, get off at LIBERTY road (south end of Galt).

Turn Left onto Liberty, follow it all the way until u hit the stop sign where u can either go left or right on 88...

make a right onto 88... follow it down about 3 miles or so until u come to the stop light where u again have to turn left or right,

and u will be making a right onto highway 49... which takes u directly to Angels Camp.

From there, obviouslly listen to the info line I drive up there allll the time to see my parents, so I just wanted to recommend to u all the best route to get up there

As far as what to bring, Ive never been to stilldream, however, Im a huge backpacker/camper... (hiked 180miles on foot a couple summer back!!!)
so I would recommend what some of u said up top..

to pack LITE!!!

bring some jeans, sneakers, sandles, bandannas, hats, sweatshirt, swimsuit, SUNSCREEN, BUG REPPELANT, and water guns and toys like that!!!

Oh, and I also recommend bringing blankets and pillows for ur tent cuz at times u will really just want to crash out and lay down and rest for a while.. and having all ur comfy pillows/blankets will make it MUCH better for u!!!

MAKE SURE TO DRINK LOTS OF WATER...

and I recommend bring fruit that doesnt spoil if not refridgerated.. as well as balance bars, nuts, jerky, and juice mix, like crystal light, to make ur water more yummy!!!

I think that is all the essentials I can think of.. Ill post more as they come to me!

Oh, and bring jewelery/art/drums/guitars too so we can all get together and share our creativity!!!

Just a friendly reminder to you smokers out there that are attending STILLDREAM this weekend. If you smoke, PLEASE DO NOT THROW YOUR CIG BUTT ON THE GROUND for two very good reasons !!

1). EXTREME FIRE DANGER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will be in the high mountains where the fire danger is VERY EXTREME !! All it takes is one drunk or high fool to drop a lite cig on the ground and a fire could happen and we don't want to imagine what could happen. PLEASE take a contained ashtray or a 5 gallon bucket with sand or cat litter in it for you and your campmates. ALso, an Altoids tin works great when away from your campsite.

2). Someone will have to pick it up during clean upon Sunday !!! Imagine having to pick up THOUSANDS of other peoples cig butts !! Its not fun at all. Its bad enough that last year...the Stilldream crew had a rent a 14' Uhaul truck to haul away trash that was left behind !! Please pack in and pack out your shit !!!
