Starting some Electro Action in the East Bay

So I know everyone's Wednesday nights are always packed with the big Fox lineup of crap. But, I'm guessing some people would go out if there were something to do. I find most of the Electronic events are either on the weekend or in the city if they happen during the week.

So, I'm organizing a free event. Yes, FREE, FRE3, FR33. This is the first time I've done anything like this, so I don't have a big budget or even a flyer yet. I just want to get the word out so people come, have a good time and support the scene! Does anyone have any interest in this???

It's going to be every Wednesday @ Blakes on Telegraph. That's in Berkeley if you didn't know. I'll be playing every other Wednesday (like I said, no budget). [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Anyhow, if you're into Electro House, French Electro... i.e. Crookers, The Bloody Beatroots, MSTRKRFT, Justice, SebastiAn, Toxic Avengers, etc. I hope you'll come out and party with me. What's the worst that can happen? It's free. Btw, if you're unders 21, you'd probably need to be in the door before 10-10:30.

I also forgot to mention that there's some drink specials too. $1 PBRs and $5/2 Smirnoff Ice Kamikazes. I have to say I was a bit drunk last night when I finished my set cuz the drinks were so cheap. W00T!

blakes is a cool venue too. went there for liquid (new years rave). im assuming theyll still let you in if you're not 21? (im not all that familiar with the 'rules' or whatnot of the place. some bars are gay and dont let you in, even if you're not planning on buying drinks)

I'm sure we'll try and keep it going as long as there's interest.


So the deal with under 21 is that you probably need to get there early... while the kitchen is still open. It is a resturant during the day so under 21 are allowed, but when the kitchen closes it gets tricky.

So as far as the "under 21" thing... is that 18-21 arrive early and its 18+?? Im not 18 till September.. and ELectro is my FAVORITE nusic next to trance so that'd be a bummer
