AWESOME or NOT so awesome ?? What do ya guys think? I thought it was pretty out of this world. Forest Green and SPACE GIRL were thee most amazing ever!!! And space is the most amazing thing ever so I vote that SG2 was hella tight.

I would say not so awesome. It was hot, and the out door area was bull shit. People were getting popped and thrown out left and right. There was a huge fight and some dude's face got torn up. This was not the ghetto people! Plus the bathrooms were horrible after 3 hours. Also there was no promised after party spot. The crapiest part was the flyers saying it was $30 and getting to the ticket booth and them tacking on another 4 bucks. The visuals were awesome though and I got to see a lot of my friends and scored a Forest Green Shirt. The night was not all bad. I know it was not all the crew's fault. People were saying the after party fell through last minute ( hey it happens. whatever. people should be in charge of their own after party), and that they had to take most their decorations down because of fire codes. However some dude getting the shit beat out of him and seeing some random raver go get him help instead of staff or security was heart breaking. His face was messed up! The outdoor area was a fire hazard, but they lost all their cool decorations? Lame. Does any one know how many people were there? It did not seem like there were too many. My favorite part of the night was Bexxie. She is AMAZING!!! LOVE HER! ![]() |

So much to write...where to begin. For those of you who know me...know its not a crash out day till the days over...its[s] 11:15.[/s]..[s]11:40[/s]...er 12:30...its almost time(IE RAMBLING). When you are drawing things out on paper, your wish is that the outcome is close to the amazingness of the design. The outcome of the production was stellar and it couldn't of happened without the exceptional staff and friends we have that join together to make shows like this happen.
There's no way the 2 of us could ever imagine what we were embarking on...we had an idea...you have dreams...but no. From dj's performances to visuals to sound to dancers (to the remote control for the flying saucer)...everyone worked together to bring this for you the ravers... Over 6months of work for this one night...it blew by...where's the REWIND button....[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. We take from this experiences unforgettable, new friendships and a lot of learning experiences...like 4 hours of setup only to be torn down even though all the material was fireproof...we learn. Vito...as a team with the support of our friends we can (almost believe we think we can) do it all. It takes the two of us to cover different specialties...a toast to another job well done. Staff/Friends...you all know who you are and I'm not gonna list the names so then someone thinks because someones name is before theres they were more important...THANK YOU. We cannot do it without the loving support and friends that put up with us on the days leading up to and day of the event...or the day before hosting the amazing DJ's....THANK YOU We can't thank again the DJ's enough for BRINGING IT tonight and playing into the crowd and keeping them pumped till the last beat was played. From the moment Space Girl and Shortee did sound check at 5...I knew we were in for a storm of something special. Visuals...hrm...EH they were ok I guess...visuals...this year like the last...the show wouldn't of happened without the help and support of our Visualist Terry...who on his worst day puts on the most amazing show seen...because its as seen from PLUR...and it shows when its from the heart. We cant thank the Sound crews enough...from the separate live, scratch, and standard setups on the main stage, to rattling out the windows in the second. Sound was spot on all night long with just about the same room pressure in both rooms... Security - cant thank them enough for coming together last minute when we lost 30 guards to Rock the Bells...you guys rocked it...not to mention having one of the sexiest guards ever in uniform. As for the afterparty and its location...things did fall through the last week as demands for $$ became outrageous and totally unreasonable. We wanted to bring you a stellar afterparty to go to to continue the night...but at the same time we weren't about to charge you the $$$$ expected of the venue. We worked during the night to get another location as we had sound, lineup and 3 generators at the show...but sometimes things just don't work out... As for any production you have your high and low points and some things that are totally out of your control. There is nothing you could do then or now to change things so you just take it and move on. We had a camera crew from Code TV filming the event, backstage and DJ interviews that will be on CodeTV and will have the links when they have the editing done. Tons of other camera footage will be on its way in a short time. I took a short video on the entrance to the main room and a couple Pics...I didn't get a chance to grab the camera till about the last minute. On that note its bed time...I'll prolly reply or edit this...if I missed anything. All in all... GO BIG OR GO HOME ....you only get out what you put in...if you put the love into the event, those that are attending will feel it the moment they come in. Thank you all for all your help and wonderful performances...kinda scared of GOIN bigger next time. For those of you wondering there were over 1200+ in attendance, its just that big of a venue with seating that it didn't look so full.
