I can understand all the animosity concerning br, but a lot of those guys didn't get jaded for no reason. There's a lot of shady shit that goes on in the scene, and eventually it wears you down. This doesn't mean that I sympathize with the "jaded ravers," as sometimes they're just a little too quick to bash on the n00bs. But regarding my own rave experiences, their reasons for hating become more clear to me.

I'll be honest, there was a time that I hated BR too. I couldn't believe how bitter and irate some of the members were. But it just grew on me. And more often than not, the drama and crap that gets posted on there is hilarious. It needs to come back up soon. I need my fix. I wonder if it was all the spambots posting p0rn links that did the site in

You can't get the same feeling at a rave because you will never be able to get that kind of high again. Poeple who roll for the first time at a rave will feel like you did years ago but you can't go back.
Yes the MDMA or shrooms play a big part in how you percieve the world.
You don't even have to take 'em, you just get that contact high.

I can honestly say the way I feel about raves isnt totally because of drug use. I raved for almost 3 years before I even touched e.
I do however know that the e back then was different--not the meth that passes for e these days-- and I know that that influences the general vibe.
Rolling vs. Thizzing
But yeah, I can be hella jaded when I think about the way raves have gone. Then again, its not so bad, because from the change could come a new, better rave scene.

Also, talking shit isnt shit-talking if its true. We are allowed to say that BR posts are mainly whiney-ass egotistical bullshit. Because its true.

I've always wondered why the simple act of ENJOYING MUSIC and making new friends at an underground party called a "rave" was so complicated.
