Don't kid yourself here. I've been to every skills massive in the last couple years and POP 08' was not like other skills parties.

Police dressed as kandy girls would go up to guys and give them pills, then a second later another guy would come up and ask to buy the pills for 20 bucks then BAM, you're arrested. This happened to the brother of someone who came my group (not my friend, just met the kid that day). I was walking through the middle of the main space and I saw like 5 people being tackled by cops. Sorry, but there is no such thing as a 5 man drug deal. Something was defiantly up at pop that was not up at other skills parties. I attribute this mostly to POP 08 being an ALL AGES PARTY. Minors=higher liabilities= more stuff done to prevent legal actions being taken against the people sponsoring and running the event (skills and daily city), in this case, it was more police action then usual.

Thankfully, the AFTER PARTY is 18+ !!! I expect this year's lovefest+ after party to be the most badass event of the year, and skills will be back in full form! hopefully they can fix the treble in the main room this year. I remember the first couple sets were making my ears bleed because it was so damn loud (not the good loud either.

FACT: Police had their own room in the cow palace with chairs to sit down the arrested people, and computers hooked up to the net on site to plug the offenders into the system on the spot.

Read my original post. If that is too difficult for you, read the part in bold lettering. I'm not complaining about the police. I know skills had to do what they had to do. That's just something you have to do when there are minors present. Also, go back and read any of my posts about POP following the days it happened. I said numerous times that the people who got busted are stupid and got what was coming to them. I went to POP, had a damn good time, and did not have to worry about the law at all, but to say that stings were not happening is flat out denying what actually happened.

If you read the original post in this thread, the thread starter was asking if lovefest was going to be like pop, and all my post was that it should be nothing like POP, but more the last of SKILLS' kick ass massives. There was no reason to come in and call me a retard when you obviously did not even read my post.

The easiest solution is to not buy or sell drugs at a massive. Or do anything else illegal for that matter.

Daly City does go way overboard with the undercovers and their police mobile command truck (I don't know if anyone else has seen that thing). That goes for any large event held at the Cow Palace. You may have not noticed as much police before because most of the previous events where held in the SF city limits. Which the police are much more liberal compared to DC.

But anyways LFAP has been there for four years. SFPD dont care as long as your not hurting other really. I worked 2 LFPA as security... Trust me its not a bust. Just get you stuff BEFORE you get there and keep your stuff to you. But you should do that anyway.

Exactly. The city is legit as hell. Every party I have been to in the city has been nothing but pleasing.

1. If possible, don't use drugs (they're bad mmmm'kay)

#2: Be discrete about taking your drugs. There will be undercover walking around..just make sure you are in a chill spot before you put something in your mouth

#3: Don't bring more drugs then you plan on consuming. You might accidentally take more then you want to, and if, God forbid, you do get in trouble with law, don't add drug possession to your original charge.

#4: if you have finished steps 1-3, all thats left to do is rock out with your cock out.
