semi related to "drug haters"

lol..iono, ha talking about drug haters...well this doesnt really relate but it reminded me of that thread...well another older friend i have who i highly respect who doesn't rave or use drugs, well she just hit me up and said she wants to have a "talk" with me....to voice her concerns about me and my whole raving thing.....

**shrugs shoulders** however when i get fucking drunk and end up shit faced dancing a tat bit too whory at a one of their many parties there is no "talk" to follow....i will honestly never understand why some people think drinking is better....yeah overdoing drugs is not good either...but honestly i feel like alcohol makes people way more reckless and def brings out the "asswhole" in like 80% of the people...iono...

i appreciate that she cares enough for a "talk" but honestly for those of you advocating for alcohol use over drug use (or at least thats my interpretation of some of the threads these days) you need to realize there are many more alcohol related deaths each year than of any other drug use.

k...i guess this was me venting a lil bit...now u all can return to your other threads.

I agree...

anything in excess is a bad thing IMO

Like kids that do nothing but play video games...not a drug but very unproductive...drugs and alcohol have a more imeadiate impact on lives however...

yea but drinking doesn't deplete serotonin and cause depression and etardedness over time
how many each time and how many weekends in a row do these ravers eat e like candy?

lol...k..good point...but this goes back to posts i've made before...everyone does to his body as he wishes....

and like Adam said its all about self responsibility...shit if anything i've never had anyone take care of me at a rave or even after....take care of myself....now after a night of drinking thats a diff story...my whole point is just that alcohol alters your ability to make decisions in ways that i dont think e does...or at least in my personal experience...shit i like waking up the next morning and remembering everything i did or didnt do... and unfortunately i dont think alcohol permits for that all the time. ..and just so u know alcohol is actually a depressant...and i dont think drinking every fuckin weekend is healthy either..

now, i used to drop multiple pills, multiple times a week...back from 1998 to 2001 or so. and i smoked weed alllll day long. Now i smoke on occasion and on rare occasions ill take a pill or two.

Im not depressed, or etarded.

I used to drink a few days a week aswell after turning 21...im 24 now and drink on occasion.

Im not an alchy, i dont dance on tables half naked either.

now its not the substance, be it e, vodka, trees, ect...its the person. This discussion could go on forever. The sad thing is these things will be used, some people will have fun, some will make a fool of themselves, some will get hurt, maybe even die, and hopefully some will learn to do shit responsibly and in moderation. I dont tel people what they should or shouldnt do. Because they will just continue to do what they want and be angry with me in the process.

Fuck it! Be self distructive if you want! Im not gonna lose sleep over it!

LOL....k...point taken...but just for the record i aint mad at my friend for wanting to talk to me...i appreciate the fact that her as an older woman who has a tat bit more life experience cares enough to let me know how she feels about some of the things im doing or not doing...lol...its just funny to me that people think alcohol is better than drugs...shit as far as i know doctors consider alcohol a drug too!

everything in moderation....thats what i constantly try to remind myself!

ya you shouldnt be mad at ur friend...if she's your real friend she will know her boundries and im sure she will talk to you with a great deal sincerity and respect. I agree that one is NOT better than the other.

dude thats not a fair comparison at all. The level of "highness" you get from six beers you can get from 1-3 ecstasy pills... if they arent all methy and crappy..

I dunno what is more neurotoxic, alcohol or ecstacy, but I do know that ecstacy has waay more potential to be a therapeautic drug, or at least has some purpose outside of recreational use.

alcohol is a shitty drug to use to get high..

I like fine alcohols like good scotch, beer or wine... and even then its more for the flavor than the feeling the alcohol gives me..

thats all just my opinion though, doesnt really mean anything..
