San Francisco help!

I have just moved here from DC and am finding that there is a lack of weekly parties. It seems that everyone is pumped for one or two events every three months or so. I might be wrong, but that is why I am inquiring. I did go to the Love Parade afterparty and was not too impressed. It lacked any sort of vibe or identity. Ruby Skye is sickening, even for Lawler. I love listening to some of the big DJ's rather than locals all the time. Like PVD, Morrillo, Fancilli, Cox, Halliwell, Infected Mushroom, POTD, Rush, Optical, DT, AND NOT the crappy Corsten, Oakey, AVB, Tiesto, Acosta crap. I am going to be going to MM this weekend and would have liked to seen the whole Mad Hatter deal. I got really spoiled with BUZZ/Nation for those that know what that is. Comparing the whole vibe Starscape/Armory/DC skills/Whistle/Boo/Ultra massives to the Loveparty doesn't even compare. So what am missing? Is 1015 any good? I do like the big warehouse fell with good sound and top DJs. If anybody use to go or has gone to BUZZ/Sting/Cubik/Nation, is there anything that has a feeling like that out here?

1015 is the closest you'll get to Buzz up here. Theres also shows at Mezzanine which kinda feel like it, but that was a very unique space.

Down south there is Giant - you'll like that.
