after all the unprofessionalism following funky punk rockers (sticking the headliner from UK in a shady hotel, ignoring the contract and not paying them, verbal threats) you people still go out and support zapas?

is it more important to go raving on a random weekend or is it more important to boycott this and make the statement that yes, we do care about our SF scene and we will not tolerate shady crews making us look bad?

after finding out about what happened with the zapas crew, i will not be supporting them...but ive already made plans with a bunch of people for this party so im obligated.

THANK YOU! Geez it's good to know there are still some people out there that aren't blind. How would you guys feel if some group went out & robbed an afterschool rec building or something, then threw a rave, would you guys still go & support them then?

Good lord... One of the things that's causing our scene to deteriorate is that people don't step up & make positive changes happen one by one. I thought with this last big episode of the Zapas people would finally see the light & this whole 2&1/2 year mess and it would finally come to an end. I guess not! Like someone said it's just like Bush.. Turning a blind eye & it's an embarrassment.

There's a $2 house & breaks party in the city on Saturday, and an underground outdoor techno party for free. Go to that & rave if you're so desperate.

It does matter.
Just you being there is support.
I could have gotten in free to every single Zapas party they ever threw.
I stopped going to them in fall of 2004 after the Telic incident.
That was the LEAST I could do to say that I didn't agree or support thier actions.


Anyway, in regards to the other parties goin on Saturday night:

There's a couple threads for the $2 one & something else in the events forum on [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
The underground one isn't posted cuz they're real undergrounds & don't release that kind of info on messageboards until maybe the day before, if all. Keep your eye to the ground for info like me
