That was awesome! I hadn't really been raving since literally 1 year ago (to the day!) It really hit the spot, I missed raving sooo much.

The ventilation could have been a lot better, it was really HOT in there, but if you knew where the fans were (some of them were fairly hidden) or even better, where the windows were, you could cool off pretty well. There was definitely rave-rain last night, and not small quantities of it either!

Finding the party was tricky, since my friends and I came a little late, and if we didn't have someone to call we wouldn't have gotten in because they closed the map-point so early, even though all three of us had presales. Luckily we made it. And what a party it was! The music was awesome, and I met a lot of good people there.

Maybe someone saw me? I was in a Japanese school girl outfit (like Sailor Moon,) and I was going for "injured/patient" rather than a nurse or doctor. I had a "black eye" bandages, etc. Totoro backpack, two buns, lots of kandi...

I like the crowd and the vibe! Meet alot of Newbie ravers. But when i was in there i felt really old(21)... also the music wasnt very consistant in teh main room. it went to trance then techno to hardcore and some happyhardcore. Well off to bed again!

+ Enough electronica genres to shut almost anyone up.
+ AWESOME chill area. Seats with TABLES, fans, the bar right next, and even a kandi booth. I was quite happy with this.
+ OTTER POPS
+ A great crowd. I think the mappoint was a great idea, and weeded out people that weren't all that serious about going, or just wanting to go to get drugs. Cool people all around, from the people on the dance floor to the people chilling in the hallways.
+ Awesome job to the crew. Small cigarette-caused grass fires aren't a big deal to a good rave squad.

- Hot.
- HOT.
- MOTHERFUCKING HOT. That was the first rave I've been to in a while where there was full-blown raver rain. It had to be at least 100+ in the main room, and the lab was a friggin' ravecano, which is bad for me since the hardcore room is where I get crazy. I could'nt stay up there for more than 15 mins max without rushing down to the crowded hallway for a little soothing air. It was so humid in the place that my phone shorted out due to my sweat and hasn't turned on since. For that many people, that venue requires a crazy amount of fans.
- Big props to whoever dropped a full roll of TP in one of the toilets. Come on now, no reason to do that.
- DJs seemed a little hidden to me. Upstairs they had that construction barrier stuff in front of them, and downstairs it took me a while to even figure out where the DJs were. Not really a big issue or anything, I just found it a little different.

All in all, a great night. I haven't been to a rave like that in years, and it's good to see that it turned out the way it did. I got a few pics, I'll up them whenever I get unlazy.

Fucking amazing party. Great vibe, great music, great DJ's, great setup The visuals were very impressive.
Yes the heat was nuts. That was my first heavy rave rain party. Had to go the the "breather" room often, which was annoying. Was the only flaw of the party.
But it was so kick ass. I will be there next time HL throws a party in the bay area.

Pictures anyone ?

Btw I had a great time too, and was fucking exhausted by the end of it lol.

The only bad part was that my friend got dosed with acid without him knowing it and I had to take care of him for the last couple hours...

Kinda upset me a little but what can you do.

Great show, few newb probs (not like I am not having them myself), but overall a great night. I don't like raver rain though. Still it was nice in an ethereal way to actually see it. If you screwed up and didn't buy presales or didn't come early, sorry, it sold out and you were warned. I think that's going to be the trend for a while. If the party seems good and the promoter is nice, you will see full venues, and turned away folks. So buy tickets in advance or take your chances.

Great lineup and those that didn't stay missed Tranz Am in an awesome morning glory set. Don't ever leave until you are too reduced to stay. Last sets are always the best. Just remember I said that with my next few shows....... G'morning and it's finally bedtime since I woke up yesterday at 8:41 AM.

Lowball, Relm, Elmo, Kenny you guys blew the expectations out of the water. Now there's been two 6:00 am shows in less than a month. What can be done now to raise the bar? We'll see of course. Props to all of you, and anyone I should have mentioned, but missed.
