Well maybe its still happening.
But I remember Metropolis like 8 or 9 years ago had Hiero and I think like Blackaliciouse was there too. But do those shows still exist? Like maybe Living Legends are going to perform at a rave or something. Or even when the DJ's spin a lil Outkast or something over a DnB track. Or like a guest appearance by Lyrics Born or something. Does that still happen or has that turned into its own sub category? If this doesn't happen anymore why not? Is it those damn lil sucka fish wanna be hip hop heads (hyphie, thugs, real thugs) killed it? But rmember when like a break crew would allways start circles and what not. Man that was my shizznit |

I remember seeing a a jungle/DnB room on a flyer recently.
but I can't remember what. The best there is now is remixes and stuff like that, although I dropped an N.W.A track during my dubstep set at TTLG, and sadly it cleared the room out :/ |

I've never really been a fan of dubstep and don't know many people that are. Whenever they played dubstep at the Library it always cleared the room out and filled the hallway/outside.
I'm sure there are those that love it, its just not for me. ![]() -Drifter |

Well now Ima be noobish and look to find some dub step on you tube. But thats kinda what Im saying. Has the scene become more elitist? Meaning he with the most Kandi is King? I high;y doubt thats the caes but I jsut wanted to know from the horses mouth. Meaning y'all.
So dubstep kinda like trance slowed chopped and add some reggae? Last edited by Ipsl; 16.4.2008 at 5:26 pm.. Reason: Just heard some dub step |

Nahh, its not really elitist.
people just go to the room of the music they like, not many people like hiphop in the rave scene. so there isn't much hiphop played. the dubstep crowd is really small because dubstep is still really underground. its pretty new so yea. ehh, not really trancey. but some of it may sound that way. check out this video: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] this is good dubstep/grime ![]() Last edited by BoyyBulge; 16.4.2008 at 5:31 pm.. I'm glad you like it!
dubstep is starting to get bigger, so hopefully there will be more dubstep in the jungle rooms or something. |

. Maybe it has to grow on you, but its just too slow and too mellow for my tastes. I listen to all genres of music, especially in the electronic genre, but I lean more towards hardcore/HHC/Hardstyle.-Drifter |

Haha, usually dubstep would be played in the hardcore room. And one room venues like the Library (if it ever gets used again, which I doubt now) make that difficult

See I go into overload with some of the hardcore stuff. I just don't know what to do with myself. I feel like making all my molecules do figure eights within my chemical makeup.
