Rave friends or friends who go to raves?

So in getting myself better acquainted with the rave culture, i.e. you guys, I got curious about something. I guess this could be viewed as a poll. Are most of the friends you go to raves with people you see only during raves or you go to raves with your friends who you hang with whether there is a rave or not? Lastly, are there a lot of friends you met at a rave and now keep in regular contact with? Just some questions, don't mean to waste anyone's time

only a small number of my friends go to raves with me which is about 5 maybe 6 and they are all my closest friends we hang out all the time in and outside of raves i actually introduced them to raving although i am pretty new to the scene so i havent had a chance to meet any good friends through raves or on rl unfortuanetly, but hopefully that will change

My crew and I hang out outside of raves also. I also have some friends that I don't get to see other than at raves ^_^

Baasically my closest friends are the ones I GO to parties with. I have other friends who I don't rave with.


then a lot of my LOVES are people I met raving and only get to see at raves, but talk to a lot.

most of my best friends didnt rave until i enlightened them to the lifestyle. theres only a few friends i would bring with me to a rave. however, theres a massive amount of friends ive met at raves that are really close friends of mine, even if i only see them at events and talk to them online for the most part.

Most of my friends are ravers. Some I met through raving which is understandable since I run a production crew. Some people that are my friends I met outside of raving, but they ended up just being ravers. Who knew!

I have always found that I have friends that I just see at raves, and friends that I go to raves with and hang outside of raves with. Then there are the friends I have known forever who don't really understand raves, but we love each other to death regaurdless that they don't get it (yet! i will bring them to the glowstick side!).

I think it's important especially for my friendships with people that rave who I see outside of raves to constantly keep in mind we need to do other things besides just attend parties. It can get tricky with promoting constantly, but even if it's just a DVD night at home or grabbing coffee and goofing around I make it a point to do those things.

Raving can take over. It's a life style but you have to balance it all with your other passions in life.

the one friend that introduced me to the scene is my usual running buddy. i try to meet at least one person at each rave i go to, but it never really amounts to anything more than a brief exchange. i have a hard time socializing in that environment. the music is too loud for me to hear anything, and i spend most of my time on the dance floor.

I went to my first rave with friends I know in RL,but I don't really know them anymore. So lately I've been going to raves solo but since my first rave I've been building many friendships with people I meet at raves.

So each rave I go to , I have people I can hang out with there and it won't just be me going solo anymore...

Basically : my rave friends, we need to hang out more In real life!

I haven't been raving very long but I always go with one of my close friends (heymonster/old skool) and sometimes some other people we know that rave once in a while. I have met some people that I see at raves often but never outside of raves. Yet anyways.

most of my friends have never even been to a rave. im trying to amass as many as possible for pop, cause i know, regardless if they aren't as into the music as i am, that they WILL love pop then the conversion begins
