You shouldn't let what happened at POP stop you from going to the the #1 massive of the year. EDC is going to be fucking ridiculous this year! I don't know if you've ever been to an EDC before but if this years would be your first I would recommend not missing it cause it will blow you away!

I agree. EDC 08 will blow away POP 08.

My only tiny gripe is the lineup for EDC.

i dont get why everyone hated POP. the music in the rooms besides the trance room were AMAZING. tiesto and ferry never deliver for me anyways. sure the music went off an hour early, but hey, thats only an hr, we've had only 3-4 hr long parties at the crackhouse... remember THAT bullshit?

oh ya, and the sudden surprise of those aerial dancer things, was pretty fucking amazing lol

I don't know why people are saying the music in the Trance room sucked.

I absolutely loved every set, save Tiesto's. But in his defense, his wasn't finished, so it could have gotten better.

When Ferry spun Gouryella, I went fucking nuts. I only caught the back end of John Beaver's set, which sucks, because I LOVE John Beaver. Deep Voices and Markus Schulz rocked the house as well.

The only problem I had with POP was the overcrowding, it was entirely too packed and too hot for me to dance for too long.

Pop was pretty fun.

All the clubby people were pretty annoying but all the hardcore ravers were awesome!!

It was really fun, and I had a great time XD

I remember when the visuals for previous years were kinda meh.


but this time the screens actually worked really well. acrobats were a surprise.. definately something different that ive never seen at a skills event before.


hopefully tiesto and markus come back soon, would love to see another show with them.


and about the NARCS... while my friends and I were standing around after the lights came back on, some guy in all black.. parka on.. hair slicked back, way too old and not friendly looking came up to my friend and asked if my friend had any pills....

uhh hello? why would someone want more drugs after the party is over? maybe they were thinking of trying to get a bust on some poor kid who cant handle themselves?


on another note.. gave a few people some "amazing" light shows that night(of course thats what they said, haha). i had a few of my own modified inovas (2leds in one) and then one set of color change inovas.

I don't normally like Tiesto, because his stuff is way too "trancey" for my taste. But I really enjoyed his short lasted set. It seemed like he was spinning more on the electro/house side than trance. Pop '08 was all good for me. I was with friends all night until I met up with a girl and we went off to do our thing

It sucks that it ended early, but it was really cool that we all just moved the party into the parking lot.

The gingerbread house party totally sucked and did not live up to the hype people on here were building up for it.
