People wore underwear underneath their clothes 10 years ago. That's the difference.

Kristie, how many people's pants did you get into?.. But seriously, who cares if anyone freeballs it? And I'm sure people were just as promiscuous and sexually adventurous. If you're saying people act more like slutbags now (with regard to attire), that's a separate issue. Did PLUR come about with a bunch of academics who had tried ecstacy one time and thought a utopian society was within reach? Or were they just yesteryear's version of today's typical n00b0t? I think that's a fair question.
I'm sure his profession brings him tons of headaches, but he didn't start because he hates kids. Last edited by shitsngiggles; 15.3.2007 at 3:59 am.. Reason: automerged doublepost |

I've always thought the rave scene (and other subcultures) thrived on the creativity of its members --the skewed mentalities to create music, props, costumes, themes, flyers, etc. These girls should put a little thought into their outfits. But, maybe it's a sign that there's nothing original left in the rave scene? |

Okay, I'll go for that. I'd say I see more cut up leg stockings and frilly underwear at a rave than a strip club. Maybe that's just a reflection of the age of those girls. Kids in high school always dress to extremes.
But I'm still curious about who people credit with the PLUR concept. If so many people now say it's a dumb idea that only tards preach about, is that really the tards' fault? My assumption is that whoever started PLUR likely wasn't much less on ecstacy than anyone else at the time. In which case, who the fuck cares who talks about it now? |

it started with a dj named frankie bones. whether or not he was on ecstasy he still gave a hell of a speech that everyone adopted as raver code of some sort only i don't think it originally included respect. kind of a mutual addition though to the original idea

"a dj named Frankie Bones"
wow Study your history. Frankie Bones wasn't just another DJ. I *just* asked Frankie for an explanation of how PLUR was started, and this is what I got. (A belief I totally agree with) Quote:

You'd also need the 'r' to make the acronym more fuzzy. Okay, so the insatiable Frankie Bones is our hero. What about the movement his speech on peace, love, and unity created.
