"I heard on ravelinks there's a new crop of crews that are resorting to
weekly renegades at some old backup outdoor spots (like <snip>, <snip>, and <snip>). Using color flyers even
advertising multiple "stages", and also charging at the "door" by their
"security"?? I'm guessing the lack of (or complacency to look for) UG
spaces is prompting this.

I'm reading it's commonplace for people to bring guns and jack kids. Last
I heard at <snip> someone fired off an assault rifle and poured gasoline on the street an lit it on fire.

The ravelinks kids think these parties are the coolest shit since sliced
bread, and compare them to the movie Groove.

I'm frightened and disturbed by this, hopefully someone will pinch me and
I'll wake up. "
