OMG I'm gonna go cry now...
Make it Happen was just canceled that's all I really had to look forward to over the summer. I guess now I really have to try and make Pop or EDC...
Just the other night I could have bought my ticket to Make it Happen for 10 bucks, but now it's fucking canceled. What confuses me though is that with this new update they also posted some talent for it... "Talent: JIMNI CRICKET (Seattle), DJ KUE, MICHAEL LIU, NO K TBA Soon!" That is new on the page... but so is the following... This event has been cancelled! Check it out here. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] I don't use bayraves but I'm about to go look on there to see if anything was posted there, but I doubt it sine I'm looking over a month into the future for a smaller event.

The bayraves info is totally different than what they posted on groovetickets. According to what they posted on bayraves it was a 3 day outdoor event in Fresno on a 20 acre ranch. Like wtf?
Search "Till Dawn" on bayraves, use the quotes in the search bar (gets more exact results), and it's not far down that page. You'll see the event thread they have for it titled, "TILL DAWN Presents...."MAKE it HAPPEN" FRIDAY JUNE 20TH - SUNDAY JUNE 22ND, 2K8, 42 HOUR CAMP OUT / BIG HEADLINERS / 4 AREAS / CENTRAL VALLEY LOCATION" I don't feel like joining bayraves just because I'm lazy. So anyone wanna tell me whats up?

I'm on a budget so driving 25-30 minutes to that Modesto venue is nothing, especially since this time I won't get lost trying to spot that rec center with not lights outside. Driving to the bay in an avalanche cost a lot of money when I don't have raver friends at home that I can get to go and pitch in on. So that means I if I plan on a Bay Area event it's gotta be pretty epic, thus I must pay more for that 80 dollar Pop ticket. That also means even less chance of getting a non-raver friend to want to throw down 80 on a ticket plus drive out there for something they have never experienced and don't have too much interest in.
However, summer is coming up there is no way that I won't be going to at least one rave somewhere, somehow... I'm hella confused on what Make It Happen was supposed to be, too now. I'd love another rave in that rec center, just because it's so close to home, however, I can meet some long lost friends at the Fresno party if that goes down.

Looks like it is in fact cancelled. Sucks because I was supposed to play. Dan is busy doing his thing in SoCal from what Chris posted on BR. Best of luck to him.

aww lame, i was booked to spin at this one too. I have a clear schedule now lol. Anybody need a Trance DJ? haha
sucks its cancelled, i remember at first it was gonna be in Modesto on june 2nd, then got changed to the 3 day campout thru the 21st. oh well, hopefully something else from the Till Dawn crew will come up. Guess i'll be hittin up the Bionic Bubbles/Huglife party now should the lineup look tight.  Above & Beyond @ Ruby Skye that night is pretty tempting as well....
