Non Ravers at Raves

This is a topic that has been thrown down a lot.. But I dont think its been discussed enough. I want to know your opinions on non ravers at raves. You know who I'm talking about. The people that go to the party because they have nothing else to do that night or they just want to experience it once just so they can say they did it.. Those guys..

Personally I think we need them. I'm not sure who said it ravelinks.. But he/she made a good point. He/she said that we need these people to pay for the party, to keep it going. But i think a lot of us think of them as only that. Ravers tend to distance themselves from these people and just act like their not even there. Sure.. They may be acting rude and may be having a horrible time. But I always give them a chance. From what I've seen, a lot of them dont know how to loosen up. A lot of these guys dont have the help of drugs to make them reaaally social. I mean, i think the greatest part of raving is how many friends you make and the conversations you have with the wide variety of people at these things.. I mean, there are so many different kinds of people at this party, the large variety of conversations and view points on life and the world is mind blowing. If these non ravers dont experience this amazing part of the rave, they may never return and become true die hard ravers.. Anyway, my point is: GIVE THE FUCKERS A CHANCE. Give them love, kandi, kisses and hugs.

I'm not sure if my point was explained that well.. but i gave it a shot.

Again i know it SUCKS when people with such different values show up and flaunt their broken ideals in everyones face (I've gone on an uncountable amount number of streams of profanity and cursing for SURE), but that's life. might as well learn from it.

I know a friend of mine who was a thug and started going for the "ho's" he met a really great girl and dated her for hella years and became a big part of the scene for a long time. But its funny that one night that changes your whole life.

What exactly do you mean by Non-Ravers? Is it someone who didnt do any E or is someone who isnt dancing and who isnt dressed flashy with kandi and that such?

Hell yeah, i was a fucking assholish metalhead when i first started raving, but i became hooked after my first party, and the fact that I raved actually was the reason I got tossed from my band, but I didn't care, cause I had found something I actually believed in, and loved.

Dude, I didn't know you were not in your band anymore. That sucks. I used to be a metal kid too (played guitar in a hardcore band for several years) and my band mates were upset when I started making techno and going to parties...they felt short changed i guess, but many of them are still in the same place they were back then, or worse, and I have progressed. I can't begin to claim that it is because of raving completely, but I think that it played a major role in me becoming the person that I am, and that's a person that I am pretty proud to be.

I say if they're negative they need to be here even more. It might mess up a wee bit of our times every now and then, but think of the chance to turn around we would be giving them.

All I'm saying is that true PLUR n shit isn't just about hugging people who want to hug you. It's about helpin' out people who can't see why you would want to hug them.

I see what your saying but I really dont think people Need drugs to be Social. Anybody should be able to attend to a party and have fun
