Nltt Review!!! :)

Oooooh my damn.

Let me start off by saying its 4:50 am in the morning, just got home, and I am stiiiill ROLLIN!!

So meeeee (Phoenix...purple hair) and 2 of my friends (Jade and Brian) got there around 11 pm and found out that they were at capacity.

We ended up staying outside and meeting so awesome ravers!! (You know who you are) and mainly just hanging out.

So some time rolls by and I literally BEG the door guy to just let us in..which he did. I was even suprised.

Music was amaaaaazing in my opinion. Mainly just dancing around next to the speakers ::drool::

I ended up meeting soooo many RLers there. Got TONS of pics which I'm going to post up tomorrow, or later today I should say.

Thanks to everyone for all the Kandi!!! AND if you got some from me I hope you like it ::blushes::

AND for the people who didn't get any...I completly ran out so I'm sorry about that.

So now I'm off to bed. The ravers that sent me text messages with numbers and myspaces...EVERYTHING..expect a response later on when I recover.

the night was beautiful! i hung out with pockets and 2 cool ppl before

the musi was better than i was hoping for :] and i danced util my legs turned to jello! sorry if i was a turd when that happened :|

it was nice to see my regular friends and meet new ppl from rl and randomly

this girl i was friends with in NINTH GRADE was there, kelly, that was AWESOME

K well we left my house at 10:20 and should've gotten there around 10:40 but ran into some difficulties. Got to the door at I think 12:30 and of course they were at capacity...I contemplated trying to pay her off but decided it wasn't worth it and I just wasn't in the mood after everything that had happened.

So in other words, Drifter+Beaver didn't get in. Pretty lame. I was pretty disappointed but next weekend we've got Spastik Children so its not like there will never be another rave.

I hope the rest of you had a good time and I'll see you next weekend.

Last night was AMAZING. it was my first rave and i looved it.
Met soo many people and everyone was really nice and stuff. Got lots of kandi too [:
and someone gave me my rave name: pikachu!
last night was the most fun night of my life. [:

the only thing that sucked is that omni's car got broken into and they stole the stereo and speakers. ]]:
and when we were driving back to my place his car broke down and we had to push it to the curb.

Just wanted to say:

First to everyone that came out, THANK YOU!! You guys all made for an awesome night.

For everyone who had to deal with the whole capacity issue, we are soooo sorry that this happened. Honestly we were totally shocked at the turn out, we just did not expect that many people to roll up to this party. We were literally over sold so many people deep within 45 minute of opening the door. And sorry to have to turn people away but, the room was literally hazardously full of people. If there had been a reason for everyone to need to leave (ie fire, etc) someone could have really gotten hurt. So it was purely a safety issue and just vastly underestimating the turn out. I'd rather have to turn you away than be responsible for anyone getting hurt though. I hope you understand.

For those of you that hung out at the park or just waiting a few hours in your car and got in...thanks for your patience!

Ah..holy shit..must sleep more...can't wait to see pics though!

I guess we didn't expect that we'd get the turnout we did. Certainly I didn't when we decided to throw this party. My thanks to each and every person who came out last night.

THE PROS

People actually dancing and enjoying hard techno
SOLID music ALL night. Every single DJ was awesome.
Friendly ravers despite the tight quarters and issues outside which halted the smoking line several times.

THE CONS

Venue size. Obviously we didn't expect getting such a response, otherwise we would have had a larger space. I apologize profusely to everyone we had to send away due to capacity being reached as early as 10:30pm. We managed to get some people in later in the night who waited like brave soldiers for hours.
Main sound seemed to cut out somewhere through the night. Not sure what happened there, but Leon's two 15" Yamaha speakers were pumping and seemed to have enough juice anyway!
My stress level. I think I'm going to go see a doctor today to make sure my blood didn't boil last night.

idiotbox im glad you finally let us in (guy in the green shirt, short vietnamese girl and the korean guy) we'd been waiting for like 2 hours out in the cold lol)

Music was rockin, tho I found myself too close to the speakers too many times haha. Venu was nice, it was crowded at first but by around 2:30 or so people started to take off, and it ended up being nicely filled. IT was a little hot in there, maybe get some fans blowin next time, I found myself having to go out to the hall way just to cool down because it was too stuffy.

Nice meeting fellow rl'ers, This was my first underground rave, and it was pretty fun, can't wait to do it again.

This was my First underground in the Bay area, and it was AWESOME.

I'm used to going to downtown LA for them and this was not nearly as shady, had less sketch people(did not meet one person last night that creeped me out), and did not get shut down.

So getting there was kinda difficult and i was a little pissed at first that it was all the way in oakland...but we all know the drive and the mystery is all half the fun.

the people i went with and i finally got there around 10 30 and were afraid we would not get let in. as we are getting out of the car, we see two cop cars roll by. they pass right by the party/people waiting outside. We then had to wait at the top of the block for several minutes but then got yelled to hurry our asses in and get inside. We got inside, PHEW!

this place was *Packed*
and the music was GREAT.
I'm used to happy hardcore and weak trance at undergrounds but this shit was massive quality dance music and i felt like i was rolling except for the lack of energy i had.

yeah waiting in line for the bathroom sucked and it was crowded so at some points hard to dance...but for an underground i was thoroughly impressed.

Danced a bunch, met a bunch, smoked a bunch, and PLURRed a bunch.
got to see some past friends like turtle, sleek, Pocahontas, Old Skool(whom i named last night), joe, and other people i'm forgetting.

Shout outs to the people who shared green with me....i love blunts and pipes. i'll sling back the favor sometime.

Pocahontas - Thank you for giving me the piece of kandi that finally turned me into a kandy kid

Giggles, bow baby, and pheonix - thank you for being so excited to meet me :-) hope i lived up.

So I got to the venue at 9:30 and chilled outside with B, Legion and some other kids, my favorite kandi broke while we were spinning

Eventually we got in and within minutes the place was stuffed full of ravers. Then i got drunk and the rest of the night is all blurred together, but I got a new rave name, Spider. The vibe was hella PLUR and i met a bunch of cool kids and saw some friends. The music was awesome all night, although I left around 4:30.

Me my cuz and some friends got there around 12...so it was filled but we managed to get in

....after that we were dancing all night....we left around 5! i couldn't feel my legs....and to drive back home (near Santa Rosa) but it was worth it....met some ppl (some from here) danced, and had lots of fun!

PS- I was the guy with a blue dress shirt....took it off 10 min later...

it was so much fun
great way to break me into the rave scene, seeing as it was my first rave EVER

got away with tons of kandi too, so I'm glad I was liked :]
I'm making some for next week ^-^

The only lame part was that I still dont have a raver name... hehe. I got to introduce myself as Nicole alllllll night. I felt like a loser, but its cool :P

Fun, but definitely packed. This was my first underground and it was cool to experience a rave so small, but still amazing music and great people. Had fun dancing around by the speakers and back by the beverages table (until it got crowded back there too!). I got tired kind of early though and I had to get up for work at 8 so left around 2:45. I'm glad I got to meet a few ravelinkers, especially Giggles!
