My phone got stolen @ WHERE'S WALDO

Hey everyone, I had a fun time at Where's Waldo up until the point when I lost my phone and the person who picked it up made me run around the venue and made me think i was going to get it back. If anyone knows anything I would appreciate any information that could lead to finding my phone. It was a black Motorola PEBL with a picture of my boyfriend sleeping on the background. I really don't care about the phone, whatever i can buy a new one, but it sucks that people steal shit that is so personal to someone.

To the person who stole my phone: You seriously are one messed up individual. what do you gain from stealing my phone? I don't know what rave i'll be going to next but for sure I'll be going to Lift 2, its my birthday that night @ midnight, maybe you'll find it in your heart to give me back my phone. I'll be dressed as a fairy for sure, and if you see me, just show your face. I want you to look me in the eye and tell me you stole my phone. you don't deserve to call yourself a raver. I hope that phone does you some good. And remember, what goes around... comes around. and when it comes around you'll regret what you did. Thats fucked up man. [/color]

that sucks but this place is a blip in the radar in terms of the entire scene

is your phone set to automatically forward pics taken w/ the camera to your provider's web photo service?

is it verizon?
non GSM phones don't use SIM cards to identify themselves, which means each phone has a hard coded identifier to tell that telco who it is
maybe you can report it stolen to your provider, i duno if they can/will do it, but its theoretically possible for them to ban that particular phone from the network so that the thief can't sell it

imo, report it stolen regardless of if you think your phone company will do anything
it's better than sitting around wondering while the thief uses your service to call 900 numbers and such

ive had my phone stolen/lost 3 times at rafes sucks i know but eh its just a phone nothing else thats why u have get insurance on ur phone

i left my phone on bart... and i used my friends phone to text my phone to give it back... and he dropped it off at the lost and found... i'm to lazy to pick it up... plus t mobile gave me a better phone for real cheap...

but anyways i hope whoever stole your phone returns it....
