yeah, maybe that isn't the best idea that the cops should assume that people are on drugs, but let's be honest now...they do assume that. The cops are not stupid. They know what goes on. I mean it's a FUCKING RAVE! no shit people are going to be rolling off their asses and tripping out and shit. I really don't think shutting down a party b/c there were not enough exits, not enough fire extinguishers, and basically everything else in life that could dub the venue as unsafe is understandable, but still lame.

you know what though, when doing a drug you should always be mature enough to have a designated driver even if you know it will wear off in time. If you have been around the scene you know that parties do get shut down early and with that in mind it should be your top priority when taking precautions on taking a substance. Its not age that denotes maturity rather actions.

Got off work, sat in the parking lot for 10 minutes drinking and then watched everyone come out BLEH!
For 30 bucks I wish I at least got to go in.

I heard something about some law about 49 heads per exit.
Word on BR is it was not permitted, the promoters were lied to by the venue owners.

Personally, I think the capacity was way too large from the start.

If you saw the looks on our faces at the end of the show there were surely no smiles amongst us. We throw these shows for you ravers and when things like these happen out of our control theres nothing that makes us more upset. As Nick stated we are all working to make this up to all of you and our artists. We were shut down early out of our control and we had 8 artists flown in from all over the US and abroad and only 1 of them got to play part of their set.

We didn't have a problem when we threw Space Girls in the same venue with MORE people than this event, so obviously this was very unexpected.

As far as other responses as to capacity of a venue we have all been throwing events for many years, some of us have thrown events at home base when it was around, so we know the regulations. 1 person per 7sq ft is minimum, we note 1 person per 10sq ft which doesn't seem much however example 10,000sq ft is 1000 people instead of 1400 which is a huge difference.

In continuing we promise to make this up to all of you. As I stated before we are here to put on events for you and its our goal to keep our patrons happy. The smiles are the reason I personally throw the events. This was leading to be one of the best production events we've thrown to date, sucks for the early close.

I hope that everyone had as great a time as we were having while it was going...and took advantage of the hotel like so many of you did that was close by.

First of all I agree with the designated driver thing, mainly because by the end of it I was wandering around the parking lot [if any of you saw a lost kitty in pink and purple that was me] really confused as to what was happening untill my sober driver came and found me.

I'm a bit dissapointed that it got shut down early but alot of parties have been shut down early before, why rag on it about lost money or cops coming in? It happened yes but theres always more fun to be had another night. Please don't rag on the promoter or the cops or the venue and try and focus on a good moment of the night, pick something that makes you smile that happened and remember that. ^.^

well i had an awesome time while it lasted, if it went all night it woulda been craaaaaaazy. (of course the stairs and heat is always an issue at that venue)
but it still rocked hard,

im realllllly hoping theres a good make-up party, i told my friends(coupel first timers) there would probably be one so not to be too disapointed, and i hope its a halloween costume party!!!! i was fuckin stoked to be reppin pikachu and my fun was cut short
