Lovefest Meetup DETAILS!!

Ok everyone who has been dying to know where this meetup will be. It's going to be at Golden Gate park in San francisco over by the Height, at the log on top of hippy hill. Time will be between 12:00p.m.and 1:00p.m. We will start walking to the Love Parade at about 2 or 2:30p.m. so catch and join in on the festivites.

its on the lovefest website i didnt get the url but google lovefest 2006. i cant wait ^.^

It's a 2.3 mile walk, not that far, the GG bring is 13/4 miles and that takes abotu 20 minutes

that walk is going to take more than an hour. i live between the two places. between streetlights and traffic and stuff, it's a LOOOOOONG walk. move it at least to dolores park. that walk would take like 30 minutes!!!!!

While it is only (I know, I've walked it many times) a 35-45 minute walk from Haight street end of GG park to down town, that's at a decent clip mind you, that does seem a bit off the map where proximity to love fest is concerned (dolores park not much better imho, but closer, agreed)

What about the park on Nob Hill by Grace Cathedral? That's only like a ten minute walk to Down Town at best.

hey I just found this site. I live in sacramento and me and my wife are going to lovefest and the afterparty. We have like 12 friends who are gonna meet us at the afterparty but they are not going to the parade. So me and the wife are going alone. But maybe if you guys dont mind mayeb we meet up with you and hang out?

if so, I also think its a better idea to meet at a float at a certain time, instead of a park and making a long ass walk just to get to the parade.

Yeah, I think behind the skills float at 4pm would be a good time to meet. I wont be at Lovefest though, so you should probably organize with someone who will be.
