Lovefest 2007 parking

Ok... this is going to be my first time going to lovefest. I have to drive down there, can any one recommend me a good parking garage close to the civc center? it has to be 24 hours because i'm going to the afterparty

ps i can't wait for the 29th! its all i can think about

theres a lot in front of the civic center but i belive its closes and doesnt open til 6am.

thanks for the reply, but not much help :P :P also can anyone tell me the names of the streets going to be closed off during the parade because i found some 24/7 garages but im not sure if i'll be able to get in them

why not park in some surrounding city at the bart station and take the bart into the city? thats what my boyfriend and i are doing. we're going to park in berkeley and take the bart. we're not going to the after party though. i'm not sure how long the bart runs 'cos I'm from socal, but you could go earlier in the day.

since bart doesn't run all night, i'd suggest parking in the city off of one of the lines that does run all night, like the L or the N. park over in the sunset, take the train into town, and then after hours, the L and N shuttles still run all night, even though the underground tunnels are closed.

ok i tried looking online for the L and N routes, but couldn't find a map. how close is the stop next to the civic center? also is there any place in the city you would recommend parking?

Are you planning on being in the city all night because there is alot of stuff going on all night. Also the following sunday there is an awesome day party going down in golden gate park and thats free. Lovefest 2007 is gonna be fucking awesome.

ya man gonna be at the parade, then at the after party in the civic center. then more then likely gonna be going home because it will be like 4 in the morning lol.

i forgot to mention that the L and N are Muni, not bart. you can find a whole bunch of maps at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. you could park anywhere along Judah or Taraval (the farther out the better, there's more parking) and then take the train in to the "civic center" stop. it should put you right in the middle of everything. and since the muni trains are underground downtown, you won't have to worry about them being re-routed due to road closures.
