Hooray for semi-aggressive tropical community fish! Sadly, the cooler looking ones are hiding in this picture. Now let's hope that the decorations & kandi I put in the tank won't release chemicals and kill all of my new fishies... >_<

I thought it was a pretty cool use for special pieces from friends and for the ones that are too tiny to wear. The glow in the dark ones float, apparently. Ah well.

you needa oraganize the whole tank

replace all sand/grain with white sand.

then drop candy in. Itll look hella nice against the white.

house Re: Kandi in fish tank!

sweeet, i love the idea

i hella wanna try that but
ive got a tank an some agressives too, unfortionately the largest (8-9in) would end up eating the candy. shes a pain in the ass,

a cool idea would be to attach strings of candy to fishing bobbers so they float

or

get a
reef aquarium + crazy inverts + aqua night light =

The picture doesn't do it as much justice as I would've liked... It actually looks pretty good how it's set up. I was thinking about doing plain white at the bottom at first for that reason, but I'm not a huge fan of white. I'm more of a fan of crazy bright colors and clutter, as you can see.

Haha, I actually wouldn't have to attach some of the kandi to bobbers... A lot of it floats on it's own. My bf brought up doing something like that last night, but I want to buy some more beads before trying it. I'm all out of pinks, greens, red, white, black, some blues, etc.

Cute idea. You could make kandi that says cheesy fish-related sayings such as:
"go fish"
or
"fishnets"
or
"sunfish"

The combination of chemicals secreted by tropical fish interact with plastics causing them to breakdown and release Benzine which is lethal to fish.
