I was listening to some good trance and all of a sudden I was rushed with such positive energy. This happens only when I'm raving or just layin around listening to electronic music.. It feels like how I felt all the time back when I was an e-tard. Now I'm all jaded and shit and that feelin is herra tucked away nowadays. Not sure why i'm posting this. Maybe cause i'm having a sober roll right now.
Ne-way, you guys are fuckin awesome. Raves saved my life and I believe its a great rehabilitation place for your heart. Just dont get lost in the bullshit. Raver For Life! Much Love, - Ripple. |

it's kinda weird but i can relate to that in a different way. i have only been raving for a little while but i love it and it has definately enriched my life in a way. I never knew i had "raver" in me until i popped some pills and went to a rave. Doing it that first time unlocked whatever love i had in me and now i can go to a rave w/o dosing up and still get that rush of positive enegry and euphoria pulsing through my body.

^^^ figured you'd be all over this thread.
According to his profile, he's 19...which means when I went to my first rave he was 5. LOL indeed EDIT: not that this means anything except that I am old... Last edited by Idi0tb0x; 28.6.2007 at 5:49 pm. Reason: I'm old greg |

i love when that happens to get a roll back when sober. it's like raving has unlocked a new realm within our brains, it's great to explore those chambers at any given time. in this way i will never be able to forget the fun times and all the great people, all because of the uniting expression music is. it's awesome to know that there will always be something great going on in life.

There's some similarity between the description of an MDMA come-up and release of Kundalini energy...only difference is the Yogis were not using MDMA at all...But I suppose it would be possible, as with most states of mind, to learn how to get there by first being assisted by a substance. Perhaps though, it is just that the chemical makes such a strong impression that when certain anchors (such as music) that we associate with that strong impression are present in enough quantity, the physical aspects begin to manifest psychosomatically. |

I had kind of a similar experience. I was driving on the freeway at 5:30 in the morning to pick my boyfriend up to drive him to work. I went on an overpass, and I was high enough up to see the mountain range, still partially clouded, and the sunrise hitting the top of the highest mountain. And a slower trance song was playing, and my window was down.
Everything kinda... stopped for a moment. It was like ecstasy, but so much more calm. Everything was so peaceful, and beautiful. *wistful sigh* |
