IMPORTANT - WEEK BEFORE POP: Music, Poi, Kandi, Dancing, and fun!

So I am currently trying to pull together some people/strings to get a day party in SF City for some fun and a chill get together.


What days would work for all of you the best?

Personally, I would like to do this Friday because I will officially be completely done with my first year of College, PScum has the entire day off and he is a big component of getting this together, and c'mon, who DOES NOT LOVE A FUCKIN FRIDAY????


So, tomorrow I am going to a park nearby(not G-G) to see about playing music because Lenny and some other people could probably get tables, I would get Veto or tenchi or someone else for the generator, and other crews/Djs for music and the other stuff.

If that park won't allow it I'll go to another one, so on and so forth.

Crews: Let me know your input and if you would help out.

Does friday sound good?

I'm sure if we got a lot of people everyone could carpool.

unfortunately, a Friday party would not have much turn out besides local people in the city or people in north bay/east with no job/classes.


this upcoming SATURDAY is the other best option.

This is a day time party that would not have the names of any crews on it.

Free.

Put all the fuckin drama aside.
This is for the love of the music, the scene, and the people.


I have money but I am not in the position to throw it down for a day party without breaking even and i do not want to charge people; i'm saving up to start my own crew at which point i will be throwing down several thousand for an actual event.

Pretty sure I'll have to get a generator(pending going to parks and figuring that out)
Still looking for someone with free sound
Pretty sure we already got Vinyl Decks and mixers
but need CdJs especially if there is wind.

I'm not naive. Its a big favor in different directions. But i think its a good way to have a chill day before a huge party and a summer full of tons of crews throwing tons of events loaded with back drama.

If you have any of those, the time, and would love to do it(hey its practice and an opportunity to try shit out!) let me know.

I'm not very involved in the scene or with any crews at all, but just from TTLG and RL Mandi is fucking awesome.

UPDATE: THIS MIGHT ACTUALLY TURN INTO A DAYTIME AFTER POP EVENT!!!

due to the ease of people's schedules, there being a Dj/Promoter softball game this upcoming Saturday, and some other things, it might be switched to that day.

Daytime music and dancing, bar-b-que, and then chill hookah after parties and people's houses.

right now, either this saturday or the sunday after pop.

depending on several factors.

main factor im concerned with, is what the park im going to tomorrow morning will say about putting sound on their grass/if the area is open(its right next to a baseball field)

depending on that...several routes could be taken.
