Drive 99 north and you will see a giant sponge bob attached to a barn depending where you are in sac.

would be nice to see a themed rave like spongebob in which people actually dress up for, would be interesting with spongebob since there are so many different looking types of characters. it might turn off some of the older or the closed minded people who are "too mature" to watch cartoons just because they appeal mostly to younger people.
What i would love to go to is a Mario rave. Get about 5 different rooms with different themes. Like say for the tunnels you can get some industrial/DnB going, get some Trance for the sky lvel, some DnB for the castle, some trance for the 1st lvl room. occasionally throw in some VG remixes. that would be alot of fun. |

the only problem i can see happening here is that you will get too many generic mario/luigi/princess costumes. If this were to happen you can definatly count on me going as a shyguy with the mask or maybe a koopa/bowser.

I love Sponge Bob. I don't have a TV, but when I do have the opportunity to watch TV it's the only show I watch. As I've grown older it hasn't lost its humor or meaning, because there's an overwhelming sincerity and goodness that drives the show, and, for some strange reason, it resonates with me and makes me feel fuzzy and warm.
Needless to say, I think that the show is absolutely brilliant. Though there are artistically better crafted works out there, books, plays, paintings, etc., the primary goal of the liberal arts (although some postmodernists have departed from this) is to move its audience, awaken in them something that they themselves might not be aware of, or unable to grasp at. Sponge Bob does this for me, and, in some strange way, stokes a primordial hope in the goodness of man within myself. I love Sponge Bob. |

no no no. We don't need a Mario Rave, we need a Nintendo rave. That would be fun, diverse and could incorporate so many types of music.
