That sucks,
But it's awesome that you two can be friends and can work on the raves without it interfering too much.

As far as love goes, well, the only thing I can say is that the only way you can feel so poorly right now is because you felt so amazing at one point in time. Love is something unexplainable and yet is necessary for life. Just always remember what fun times you had with her, and how much she meant/means to you. It's so easy to just turn your back on them and never speak to them again (I know, I've done it multiple times) but if anything she should become a good friend over time.

Being in love is amazing. You feel like you're the king of an empire, like nothing else matters but her, and you feel special and loved (which some of us didn't get growing up). It sucks to have loved and lost, but eventually you'll find someone who will work out, and that's when the real fun begins.

Just remember that I'm completely jaded for someone who means the world to me.
