This member is the original thread starter. Thumbs up Heroes Review!

First and foremost, Jolan Ray is, without a shadow of a doubt, my favorite local dj, and thus, the decision to have him spin 10-11 didn't sit so well with me. That foo had me dancing so hard by 1am I was totally spent. Amazing set.
The Carlos Alfonzo set downstairs was pretty sick too. He was dropping some serious heat, and hearing "Satisfaction" was definitely a high point of the night.
It was great that there were so many people there! From the start to the finish, both floors were packed, and that's always a sign of a good party. At the same time, it was a little overcrowded, and as much as I wanted to boogie on the first floor to some house, it were just way too many people to move.
The crowd was considerably different than what I'm used to. This was the first party I've been to where I didn't feel like the only black guy there. I was really surprised to see so many black girls, and they were all so pretty too. In general, the ladies were looking damn good.
I met some really cool people last night too, and I think the reason I had so much fun was because of you guys. Sunshine, Darreal, Tom, Sam, Amanda and Evelyn. It wouldn't have been a party without you guys! Thanks again Sunshine for the present and the Vicks! And whoever gave me that massage in the house room... my god that was the most amazing thing I've experienced in my entire life.
It was hella fun dancing with you guys. If you saw me or we talked, I was the black guy sporting either a blue sweater with yellow and teal stripes or a black shirt with a big ass W that said woot!, depending on the time of night, a black cap, tight ass jeans, and some blue, orange, pink, and black nike hiking boots. See you at through the looking glass! No parties for me next weekend. I need a break.

Re: Heroes Review!

Got there just in time to see Carlos pass off the decks to Kue......GOD DAMN some funky ass beats! I was like jumpin up and down while security was checkin me outside the door as i was coming in....love "The Reward is Cheese" so props to who dropped that one!

Chilled with Jacki, Oddrey, & Sausee most of the night......met up with some more of my buddies but they all got kicked out for sittin in a circle by the visual screen outside and passing around a blunt.

Went upstairs to catch Arize tear it up, then caught the end of Gamma's set before Sausee went on. Just stood there mezmerized at this badass just drop all these crazy psytrance tracks and people absolutely fuckin lovin it! I was nervous as hell once it came my turn to come on since i had to follow him lol.

I got to lay down the new Orjan Nilsen track which got a kickass reaction.....tune of the night for me was my Mashup of "Lunar Siren"....crowd just went fucking NUTS when the bass kicked in! I got a request from a group of people at the front to play Yoji Biomehanika - Samurai, so i layed that one down.......then let the crowd calm down for a bit with the HEROES Theme remix and finished the night off with some classics.....Out of the Blue, Airwave =)

Crowd was definitely amazing that night.....cheering once the break came, clapping their hands during almost every buildup & drumroll......and even attempting to sing along to the lyrics at points lol

AWESOME thanks to Honor & Arize for puttin on yet another kickass party, and again thanks so much for giving Trance a Chance and lettin me end the night

Amazing party.

I got there around 7:30... Met up with the usuals, met a few new faces (Teddy, Eddie, some others but I suck with names)

Music was bomb. Vibe was pretty great. My only gripe is how packed the downstairs dancefloor was. I wanted to go downstairs and dance, but every time I'd go to get down there, it was so packed I couldn't move. I ended up being upstairs most of the night.

Tenchi rocked the house, I really liked his set. I didn't get to catch much of
DJ Saphyre's set though... I forgot to check what the timeslots were.

It was really nice to get partying again. I'll definitely be hitting up Through the Looking Glass.

This party was pretty awesome. There were a few small minor issues but these things happen at every party.

I met a few people last night.. the names fail to come back to me now but I was the guy on stairwell passing out through the looking glass and galactic funk flyers and also next to the bathrooms.

I also was pretty shitfaced drunk on 3 long islands. LOL

Anyway, I had a great time, hope you all did too!

wow well where do begin....

congrat-u-fucking-lations Tommy and Honor. Job VERY well done! I can whole heartedly say i was very proud of you guys last night and had an overall amazing time.

Every room was FUCKING JUMPIN all night long, no matter where is went just hundreds of people cutting a rug gettin down for the get down... i love it when you are at a party and you know the kids there REALLY are feeling/appreciating the music... thus was the case every where in that place last night!!

Taj and Alex, caught your set 1st, hella fun and was lovin it! Marika had the crown goin even early on!

then chilled with Nick Nyquil and Adam Ant for a while and rocked out to their set. They had that crowd going 18 dummy! except for the idiot(s) that kept kicking the plug and cutting the sound! Thanks Lindsay for holdin it down the rest of the set buy watching the plug so these 2 could rock that crowd for the rest of their set.

Next caught Carlos' and Reminisce's set... Always a pleasure to watch the talented Carlos Alfonzo throw it down, but i was also VERY impressed with Kayvon last night! Great job bro! Big things you've come a long way for sure!

Also caught part of Jolans set, all the same just people dancing everywhere all night feelin the music.

Arize killed it of course! with those jump up sounds that just wont let a crowd be able to stand still! Saw the one and only Duh... who has dubbed me Doctor G now

Lastly the set i had been most anticipating Knifey Paul and Andy P! Lemme just say that they absolutely annihilated that room! people were dancing all the way to the end, the room never emptied even though their set was 2 am to 4 am... it actually got fuller and everyone was having a blast and giggin to the hard baseline electro house beats being dropped.

Venue looked great, vibe was amazing, you guys put a lot of hard work into your shows and it fucking shows, hands down!

Great Job again Connected Crew!

Can't wait to see what you guys have up your sleeve next!!

HAHAHA, I didn't give up.. more like I was cut off! I was gettin hyphy.. when you last saw me I was still sober lol. I was pretty close to puking actually but I found a sandwich that saved my life.

From the stories I have heard from this person we both have mutual friends that can kill off 2 bottles of Jager in one sitting (you know who I'm talking about). Unfortunately (or fortunately in this case), I'm not Irish.

Sup with that Ginn Juice (with no Gin)? I didn't get to taste it last night. You bottling it or what? You could sell it at all your events! It'll be a smash hit!
