Alright, here's the deal. I want something that is easy enough to be picked up before EDT POP. Obviously! I'm a white boy with no natural flow, so I don't expect to be a fucking genius master. I also know that once I'm rollin hard I'll probably dance to the beat however I feel like it. But, before then, I'd like to learn a bit of "rave" dancing!

And dont tell me to dance however I want, I do, but I feel shy sometimes.

Here are styles that I am really interested in:
Liquid/mime liquid energy ball
Popping
Shuffle (Melbourne of otherwise)
Glowsticking

In no particular order. Which do you think would be the easiest (most feasible) for me to be able to actually use and be semi-good at by POP? And if anyone has any tut links, or suggestions because they dance the style, etc., PLEASE include them!

I love you guys so much =DDD

PLUR!! THANKS!!!

I don't exactly know, but like, when they pretend they have a ball of energy, and they manipulate it around and do different stuff to that...i didn't know if that was a subset or a different type of dance or what...lemme see if i can find a video.

I can't! Maybe it's part of fluid, but its like when they have a ball of energy in their hands, and theres nothing really there, but they somehow make it look like a circular nothing...I saw it at B&W ball! I just just know yet what it's called...

OK, as far as i can tell it's part of fluid and people call it "mime liquid energy ball". I'll go combine those two in my OP =)

I know you don't wanna hear, just dance however you feel. So instead I'll ask, what is the most visually appealing to you?

ahhh fuck you're right (as i already knew but i wanted to bend the laws of..whatever anyway :P)

I like fluid, and I also love sticks when i'm rolling. So I guess i'll work on both, and combining the two . Maybe i'll try to get photons and do fluid with them? I dunno.

I need a job, I'm so poor after the price of POPsicle tickets raped my wallet..

I always wish I could dance with my LED's in a way that doesn't look like I'm seizuring on the floor.

Re: Help me pick a dance to practice!

Well....as far as the ball mime thing goes i couldnt find a video either, but in some videos the dancers do it briefly...but i did find this awesome video...slap some glow in the dark coloring on these suckers and we got a winner!

( hope im allowed to post direct links here )

But as far as a dance you should do...try practicing some liquid tracing, i think it looks very cool and thats what im working on the most. haha, its soo cool and pretty trippy to watch if done right and creatively.

my 2 cents

Found the dance you all should be practicing.

My personal favorite is the "Tick tock, what's on yo mama's clock?"

I know what I'll be mastering in the next week. Come on, who's with me?
