dude you are stupid. The owner of these boards ha asked us nicely to keep all talk pertaining to drugs to the Your Brain on Drugs forum. The RL boards have been watched by the COPS in the past and shut down at least one time due to COPS. Do as the owner asks so you can keep things happy in his world and let us keep talking online.

So this all may be true, but to what degree is that an infringement on freedom of speach? All Ravelinks does is provide a space where people can communicate. They cannot control the content. So, is the government asking RL to police itself and censor topics it based on the governments standards and drug policies?

It seems that as long as people are not buying or selling drugs, there should be no problems. It'd be different if people were using the boards to find drugs or find buyers for them, but, talking about doing something or having done something seems like it's a protected right. And if it's not what about sites like
Lyceaum, or Erowid which blatantly discuss the particulars of getting high off of everything you can think up?

Anyway, I'm not saying you're wrong, your probably right, but it does seem like if that's the case, then that's a bit of a stretch on the part of the justice systems reach of control.

I always keep my "drug talk" vague on the boards, even tho it should be allowed freedom of speech. it should be cool also if u say "pill" or "vitamin" or somting. as long as threads and posts aruge not used for dr trafficing, it should be all good. yes look at erowid, they have tons of experiences on all the illegal drugs and more, plus questions and answers about taking illegal drugs and info about them, teh cops know bout Erowid. Now if u were saying put in in that section of the boards for basically organization, she could hav, but maybe she/he wanted the answers form this group of ppl, esp if she is from this area and got the pill from this area.

But let's say that it WAS music we were talking about, since music is a form of communication. Let's say that the govenrment said "you can only listen to trance in private"...that would be ridiculous right? SO it seems equally ridiculous to say that a person can say certain things in one area of these forums and not another. That's all I'm saying.
