This is a serious rant regarding some of the people at POP, and massives in general.



DO NOT FUCKING SIT OR LAY DOWN ON THE DANCE FLOOR.


I DO NOT CARE HOW MANY DRUGS YOU HAVE TAKEN, IF THE SIDE WALLS ARE FULL, IF YOU ARE GETTING AN AMAZING LIGHTSHOW, OR IF YOU NEED TO MAKE-OUT WITH YOUR GIRL/BOY.


a) EXTREMELY unsafe.
b) takes up a ton of room in an arena thats already packed, forcing even more shoving and pushing, which makes the air even more heated
c) i, and many others, need that space to dance. IT IS THE DANCE FLOOR.
d) there are side walls that normally have room.
e) there were 15,000+ seats for you to make out in and do your sexual shit, take it there. there were much more private and dark areas anyways.
f) You paid all this money to what? roll and make-out and receive light shows without even being able to see the dj/lights? you can do that AT HOME and save money.
g) IT IS FUCKING UNSAFE!!!


and FUCK the people who i tell this too, and they flick me off.

Even when i said it nicely, when i said it is because i do not want people stepping on their heads.

I do not GIVE A FUCK if you took drugs and its your choice to spend the night that way, it impedes the dancing and is unsafe.


and also, don't blame the drugs; you can be fucked up and still in control of where you choose to sit/lay down. and if you do not have that control while fucked up, re-analyze your drug taking habits. seriously.


NOW, i know a lot of people on here are not like that. most of you moved to the side and were respectable when people told you to move. This is to the general population of massive attending ravers.

BUT, what can we do to fix this situation? make the night better for people like me, rick, razor, and the others who don't wanna be bumped 3468974567 times while dancing, burnt with cigarettes, and trip over people making out in the middle of 8000+ people in one arena?


sure its part of the massive raves, but it DOES NOT HAVE TO BE:

I will be printing out a bunch of full pages with the lines, "Please move to the side of the room or the seating area, FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY" and will cut them into little slips.

I will hand those out to the above mentioned people when it gets too bad.

Sure, they can ignore me, even after i ask several times nicely.
they can even ignore the next person as well.
But i have a feeling once a ton of people ask them, they'll move.


PEOPLE WHO GIVE LIGHT SHOWS:
When i ask you to move it, and you respond its not up to you, but them, thats bullshit.

They are following your lights with e-tarded eyes. they will follow you.
i don't care if a light show is better laying down, think of the safety and the large dancing group as a whole.

You are in the power situation. It is YOUR responsibility if someone asks for a light show on the floor to say "lets move it to the side, where there is more room."

if they don't want to, deny them the show. if they have a problem with it, that their inability to see more than their own pleasure of lights.

If you want to cuddle/get a light show on the side but it is full, wait. the world will not end if you hold off on the cuddling or light shows for a little bit. or, get a light show standing up.


do not reply to this by saying, "man, i was fucked up and it was hard to control" like i said, if you can not control yourself from laying down in the middle of thousands of dancing people, you should not be taking drugs. I know many people who get fucked up and can control that.

do not reply saying "haven't you done it?!?!?" cause no, i have not. and i have been fucked up...remember ETD LOVE? (lol) i never considered sitting in the middle of all those people.


do not reply saying "i DGAF, i go for my reasons, pay my price, and therefore get to do whatever i want!" well guess what, you are the problem in the scene as much as thug drug dealers who impeded the vibe and threaten the safety of others.

do what you want, but it is disrespectful to the others around you and irresponsible. When people stomp on your fingers, stomach, or face....who are you gonna blame?



If you want respect, you better give it.

Part of being "PLUR" means pointing this out to people, and i got a lot of shit for it last night. this rant may be taken as me being an asshole, and if you see it that way, FUCK YOU.

the last letter in 'plur' is the most important, even if it means following it and trying to spread it brings me hate.


so once again, i will be enforcing this if it gets as bad as it was last night at POP.
sometimes its not too bad and sitting near the back is okay. there was tons of room in the back.

but once again, FUCK YOU if you were laying down or sitting in the middle/front of the dance area and did not get up when people bumped you or asked you to get up.

Fuck you if you do not realize what is wrong with it.

The most i can hope for you, is that you LEARN from it and never do it again.

I would like to add that i did not give attitude to these people until the third or fourth time i had to ask. it normally went like this:


"Please take it to the side, it is unsafe and this is a dance floor"

"This is a DANCE floor....lets dance!"

"C'mon...its not safe, the room is packed, and people need the space to dance...just move it to the side"
Gives the finger, ignores, or gives a dirty look in response

I would have gone to the very top of the seats in the back center and fucked while watching the ribbon/swing dancers, thousands of people dancing, the dj spinning, the visualizer, and tons of lights.

SERIOUSLY me and journey picked a nice part in the seats to do our shit in and watch the show offy stuff and dance our asses off too. pretty amazing to go through such experiences with someone u care about.

ya sucks that we didnt get to do any hard ass dancing together but o well. ull be back .

I fail...I gave light shows but in the middle of the dance floor...and I occasionally got a light show on the dance floor...sitting, or kneeling...
I try to keep the person standing. If I ask them to go to the side...they would not want to.
I'll try harder next time!
