Okay I shall take it on myself to clear up this whole Santa Cruz has to end the music at 1 deal.


It is a city ordanance that events have to end their music at one. This is just how it works. THIS IS FOR ANY EVENTS!!!!!!! They do issues permits beyond that, but all that is asking for is for the police to do a lot of walk throughs and shut the party down. Fly High is not the only party in Santa Cruz this summer. Stars Stripes and Electro Lights, and Space Girls 2 are at Santa Cruz venues as well and they are under the same time restrictions as well. So it's not like Tri-Atom ( the production team throwing Fly High) is under special restrictions. I had a long talk with Tri-Atom's head promoter about why they weren't going longer.The entire city is under these restrictions. Furthermore how many parties this year have gone late late into the night besides Lift 2? The late night raves are dying out due to the supressing state that governs our "freedom". We have to work with in the system ya know.

These parties down here are all about people getting together to start a new scene here. It's about having old school raving back where there aren't cliques and the art is there along with the music. This production team has a lot of heart. It's amazing.


So it's about having sick after parties on the beach and in the woods here. So yeah let's throw down at a secret beach after wards and watch the sun come up!
