Finals time rant thread.

I really love my Calc 3 teacher this semester, we get to bring anything we want to for the test. Probably wind up getting a B though as both previous tests I got 87% both, only one less point then then the first test. At least I'm consistent. So to get an A I can only miss 25 pts out of 450 pts.

My computer engineering programming final on the other hand is a bitch, we get no notes or anything and its 40% of our grade. Probably the best I can hope to get in that class is a C as the tests are all about memorization, define this and define that and then find errors in some code that he writes up. So I really need to study up as I have 2 weeks to memorize shit. At least I really don't have any thing else besides that and the calc 3 to study for at this point.

So thats my rant.

I know what you mean All my homework is due tomorrow and next week is finals week! Its like FUCK. I am SOOOOOOOOO stressing right now I can't wait to get this load off my shoulders!!

My programing final is on Monday at 5pm. I have to be cramming all weekend because I was lazy on the midterms so Its like FUCK!!!! I have to get a B on it to get a C in the class! Who the fuck uses Pascal now day anyway?

WTF Pascal? A form of C is generally used to teach basic programming these days as it gives a good foundation for most languages used today. The most important part is probably learning to write object oriented code instead as most languages now use it and programs are much easier to debug that are this way as it gets really tricky to debug thousands of lines of code if it is not written in object oriented code.

I don't even know if Pascal is object oriented? Is it? Looking I guess it was originally really made to teach students structered programming, still doesn't tell me if its object oriented, I thought C was really the first to do that, we are studying C++, which seems like the best to me for first learning today as it is widely used today and is a starting point for learning others such as java. So basically they are using Pascal to teach you the foundation even though it is pretty useless as a programming language today besides for learning those basics of structured programming.

HA HA HA i totally get u....i should be studying for calc and instead im here..LOL...k well my final is tomorrow morning! everyone keep ur fingers crossed for me (i totally believe in positive energy ) ...i seriously cant wait till i never have to deal with stupid limits and damn integrals...damn i should've never taken this class!! Oh well u live and u learn....my last math class!! =) ...well not really im taking econ next semester, which has some math concepts too, i guess....damn me and my laziness!

i did horrible on my astronomy final earlier tonight. i just finished my final paper for sociology. about to catch a few winks before i have to wake up and cram a bit more for the soci final. after that test, i have a presentation and test in history. then i have two more papers to write and a music in american culture test to study for before friday...

TWO hours after my last final, i'm throwing my first party.

I'm about to graduate form UCSC if a few weeks.

so awhile ago i decided to write my optional senior thesis to graduate(only a hand full of students decide to do one). I felt like i wanted a challenge and hell, i had 3 quarters to finish it; so why not do it?


but now I'm on my third quarter and I just started writing it( did most of the research before) Normally I would be ok. It only has to be 50 pages, and i'm a good student. But i didn't talk into account Lift, I really didn't. (we have art days every day, rain or shine). I was hoping for an A on this paper but as of now i feel like i'm struggle to finish it. And if i don't finish it i will lose my law school acceptances for next aug.

What sucks worst than the grade i might get is the fact i really believe in my thesis. thats why i opted to write it. Honestly, deep down i know I will do fine. I normally do. What sucks is what i'm putting together could have been ground breaking but now it isn't.

Im done with finals... it feels so good to be done with school for now! Unfortunately i received my calc grade today...oh well at least i passed the class...i got no one to blame than myself...i got a C..if i would've actually turned in ALL my HW assignments and been in my section every freakin Thursday at 8am (instead opf being lazy and ditching out just about every other week) i would've been able to get my B.... oh well at least its over with...

i still cant believe im gonna be a third year next semester....wow time sure flies by!!

Yay for getting a B in Calc 3 myself, though if I wasn't so damn lazy I could have got an A. I really had an awesome teacher, so if you didn't get a B in her class you really didn't know what you were doing. You could have any notes and your book during the test, so for once it wasn't all about memorization.

I don't know what I got in my programming though, 40% is the damn final and 10% is the lab final, neither of which I know the grade of yet, before those I know I was getting an 85%, so unless I did terrible, I should be passing.
