Bringing some extra parties to the bay. Carnival and Fright. After seeing Meno De Jong at EDC i def want to see him at carnival plus Garteth Emery. And i have to say even though skills had its problems with POP ETD Love was hella fun party. And i think they did the right thing making the 18+ so there wont be as many problems. I had been to POP last year and Tiesto both 18+ parties and they where fine didnt see a ton of under covers but there will be a presence at any big rave. Well looking forward to both these parties and glad skills is adding some more parties to our scene.

CARNIVAL should be more my style, as Menno de Jong is just simply put, a badass....Gareth should tear it up too, always liked his unique epic yet funky style. Matt Darey i dont care for, just not into his style much.

ETD FRIGHT, its nice to see PVD finally at a SKILLS party...although he bored the crap out of me at EDC and i really tried to give him a chance. Chris Lawrence you can never go wrong with! Junkie XL was AWESOME at Lovefest AP 2006 so im glad to see him back.


Overall, both parties are a low maybe for me. Nobody i havent seen before. Im just a jaded trance fuck who likes seeing new names and those "1st bay appearances" and such. My trance tastes are wayyyy too picky and i completely admit im a bit of an elitist jerk lol


I'm excited to see the LOVEFEST 2008 AFTERPARTY lineup though!! All we know so far is Mr. van Buuren, and im hoping for something new & different

kinda dissapointed in fright as they just had 2 headliners i saw at EDC so i won't be shelling out money to see that.

Skills sucks at booking non-trance artists. PVD needs to quit the rave business.

Monster line up is dope Pete Tong there is one name most people cant claim to have seen in our rave scene cause hes older and doesn't tour much in the US anymote. There are 2 massives 2 weekends in a row so should be easy to find one with stuff you like. I should be at both getting my monster tickets and hotel free this year so will be able to afford fright after.
